About this property

Spacious downtown, modern cottage perfect for family, pups & catching the Blues!

When you stay with us, you will find that Auer House (pronounced “our”) is a modern home close to everything you need. It’s cozy, super clean, and has a hardwired workspace. Every room has a closet, smart TV, ceiling fan and overhead lighting. The fenced-in backyard includes Adirondack chairs and fire pit as well as a patio area.

Auer House is less than 1.5 miles from the heart of downtown Pensacola, 20 minutes from the these most beautiful beaches, and 15 minutes from NAS Pensacola and the famous Blue Angels. Sit on the front porch and catch a glimpse of them as they practice, and hear the roar of the engines! We have restaurants and a brewery within walking distance. Sanders Beach is a quick 7 minute drive away. You'll also find a newly built dog park just across the street adjacent to a park for everyone else! Each bedroom has its own closet, blackout shades, and memory foam mattresses for a great night's sleep. We have a kitchen stocked fully with all the tools you need to fix a quick breakfast or gourmet meal! A separate living space offers a workspace and comfy sectional to watch TV. Beach towels will be provided upon request. Please give me two-day’s notice. And, of course, we offer contactless check-in with our front door doorbell camera and keypad!

Auer House is available for short-term or longer-term rentals. And we love our military! My dad was a Navy veteran, so please ask me about our military discount. It’s the least we can do! A get away

This is our first experience with a VRBO or any ABNB property. It went absolutely flawless. The communication with the manager was quick and clear. The property was new, clean and comfortable. Had board games, corn hole and if our schedule wasn’t packed outside of the property, the home would be well suited just for a place to stay and decompress. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience and will be using the service again. A very high standard has been set by this team for all to be judged against.

Amazing Place!

Amazing Comfortable Home!

We had family coming from 2-9 hours away to watch family in a CrossFit competition! Great home for us to enjoy family! We ate a lot of meals at the house and had everything we needed! Susan was always available if we needed her (which we didn’t bc she already had already taken care of everything!) We had a family member with mold toxicity and its so hard to find somewhere clean! This one exceeded our expectations! Extremely comfortable beds! And pillows!! Room for everyone to spread out! Highly recommend! Hope to come back in the fall!

Downtown Pensacola

We were looking for old Pensacola and cool downtown things to do and the weekend did not disappoint. The house had a great location with park across the street and just a few minutes drive to downtown.

Excellent stay in Pensacola

This was one of the best (if not the best) stays in Pensacola that we’ve had. The cottage is spotless, it had everything we needed, and the location is great. I would not hesitate to stay here again and I will recommend it to friends and family who are looking to visit Pensacola.

Peace in the Pensacola

We had a lovely stay at this property. Everything is beautifully decorated and clean. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water even when you're the 4 th one of the morning. Quiet neighborhood and easy access to the park with my daughter. We will stay here again.

Such a great home. Fenced backyard. Beds were super comfortable. The host thought of absolutely everything to ensure guests feel welcomed and at home! My family and I wished we could have stayed longer. Park across the street. Close to everything. Love staying here!

Wonderful home

Cannot say enough about how nice this property is and how good the host was. This was probably the cleanest and nicest vrbo that we have ever stayed in. Great for pets as there is a dog park directly across the street. Back yard with gas fire pit was a bonus for hanging out in the evening. Will definitely stay again.

The property is so clean and in a convenient location. This property blows it out of the water from the comfortable beds to the fenced-in yard. It is very comfortable for a family and extremely clean. The owner is speedy to respond to any questions. I would stay here again.

Auer House Pensacola

What a great find for our Pensacola vacation! We were not disappointed! Every aspect of this house was true to the photos and description. Susan Nitterauer is the perfect host and responded to inquiries promptly! We wholeheartedly recommend staying at this location. The dog fee was a whole lot more reasonable than places near the beach. We will definitely stay here when we vacation in Pensacola again. Hurricane Helene sent us home 2 days earlier than we anticipated which was disappointing. Thank you, Susan for a wonderful 2 days at Auer House.

Impeccable house

As soon as you walk thru the front door, you know you’ve made a great choice! Amazingly comfortable, beautifully decorated. Everything you may need has been anticipated. Family Girls Trip

Oh my this house was so cute!! It was so clean too! Everything seemed new in the house. The neighborhood was charming. The backyard was just so adorable. We sat outside and soaked up some sun and shared stories around the fire pit. There was curling fans in every room which is so needed on hot days. We really enjoyed our stay here. We were bummed we only stayed one night because of how adorable the house was.

As a former inn manager, I'm accustomed to taking care of my guests. And it's my pleasure! That means you'll have everything you need to be comfortable including extra blankets and pillows, throws, and towels. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to me. I want my guests to know that everything has been cleaned and sanitized for your safety and comfort. If remote work is important, we have a hardwired workstation, and the Wi-Fi is fast at 422 Mbps.

Why they chose this property

My dad used to work downtown, and that was when Pensacola was a sleepy little place. I loved it then, and I enjoy the heck out of it now. It has grown up so much and so quickly! When my husband and I saw this home being built a few years ago, it was instant love. The location is great, it's quiet, and the design is perfect no matter how long you stay! Pensacola is the home of Naval Aviation, and our Blue Angels call NAS Pensacola home. Some afternoons from the front porch, you might see them practicing their stunts! And we're centrally located to many restaurants and bars that are walkable!

What makes this property unique

Within a five-minute car drive, you can be at the famous Joe Patti’s to pick up your favorite fresh seafood, Everman’s, a health-oriented grocery store with most anything you could need, and Wahoo Stadium to catch a Miami-affiliated AA baseball game. And if you love baseball as much as we do, hit me up! We have great seats we're happy to share! It's a gorgeous setting! Banks, restaurants, art galleries, breweries, and quaint shops are also downtown.
