We offer early check-in and late check-outs as that is something we look for when we're on holiday, especially after a long-haul flight! Unlike other holiday lets, we don't have changeover days. The apartment would have been cleaned for you the day before you arrive, allowing you to check in whenever you do arrive.
You can also check out late up to 4pm should you like to. You cannot check in later than 9pm.
This two-bedroomed newly-rebuilt penthouse maisonette occupies the top two floors of an ideally located Edwardian terraced building, moments from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Circus. It has been with VRBO since 2003. The apartment was recently refurbished with a new floor and roof.
This stunning super sunny maisonette flat is right in the heart of Fitzrovia yet extremely quiet due to new insulation and brand new double-glazed sash windows.

The main bathroom has a heated towel rail. Both bathrooms have rain showers.
The staircase features LED lighting at step level with adjustable colours to light up the steps as you walk up to the upper floor.
As with all the houses in Fitzrovia, there is no lift, given it's a genuine Edwardian building. The stairs are not steep. The bedrooms are on the same floor as the bathrooms. The living area is on the top floor.
This penthouse maisonette is located in the very heart of Central London's quiet Fitzrovia district and so, within walking distance from Oxford Circus, Oxford Street, Regent Street, New Bond Street, Soho, Covent Garden, and London's Theatre District, as well as Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, the British Museum, National and Tate Galleries, 10 Downing Street, Parliament Buildings, Big Ben, Royal Academy, and many other tourist attractions.
There's a wide choice of restaurants, bars, bustling cafés, bistros, pubs and shopping amenities 'on the doorstep.'
The two local underground (subway) stations, Oxford Circus and Great Portland Street are just five minute's walk away, providing quick and easy access to all other parts of London. The Great Portland Street stop is on the same underground line as Paddington where the Heathrow Express train terminates, enabling you to get to London's Heathrow Airport in half hour from Gosfield Street.
The best way to get to the apartment from Heathrow would be the brand new Elizabeth line which stops at New Bond Street and Tottenham Court Road.
Taxis are also plentiful within the area. You'll literally be able to wave one down around the corner, if need be at any time of day or night. You'll only be about 5 minutes away from an Uber car if you desire.
The West End is extremely vibrant, packed with colourful, breathtaking history and, as there's always plenty to see and do whatever the time of year, people flock to the area.
As well as being famous for a host of well-known tourist attractions, the neighbourhood is also surrounded by dozens of shops as you'd expect with it being right in the heart of Central London's West End.
The new BBC HQ is just one minute's walk away and you can often catch free performances and recordings right on its outdoor piazza or grab a coffee from the BBC Café Nero as you watch them set up for an outside broadcast/rehearsal.
Gosfield Street is conveniently located between the hustle and bustle of Oxford Circus and the tranquility of Regent's Park and is a quiet one-way side street. The apartment was my first residence in Central London and I have plenty of happy heart-warming memories of living there for almost a decade which is why I preferred not to sell it but to keep it so that others could make their own memories.
Layout: My Gosfield Street apartment is on two levels with both bathrooms and bedrooms on the second level and living area and kitchen on the top vaulted-roof floor.
The master bedroom features a 30 cm deep memory foam UK king ottoman bed, high thread count sheets and double wardrobe with LED strip lighting

Oak flooring covers all the floors apart from the staircase and landing which are carpeted.
NB: Most of the reviews before 2016 are for the flat as it used to be - a 3 bed 1 bath flat. It has since been totally remodelled during all of 2016 into a 2 bed / 2 bath flat.
