Great place, great location, bigger than it looks on the pictures. Close to stores and restaurants. Minutes from the mountain. We definitely plan to come back.
We had such a pleasant stay at the Bears Den! The game room, the fire place, the fact that we are allowed to have our pups… it was a perfect place to stay.
We enjoyed our time at The Bear’s Den. It had everything we needed and more. We especially had fun in the game room, spending quality family time, playing games, listening to music and shooting pool. Very close to the slopes. We highly recommend staying here.
Location was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants and short drive (5mins) to mountain. Wood stove and game room were fabulous in the quaint nostalgic home.
Our family was in VT to ski. Friends were also in the area and this house proved to be a great gathering spot. The kitchen is very well equipped. The house has tons of space for kids and adults to do stuff together or not. We appreciate the place being pet friendly too! Owners very responsive. Walkable to town. Would def stay here again.
We had a great stay in this spacious yet cozy home full of character, in the heart of Ludlow and minutes from Okemo mountain. Hosts were very responsive and provided everything we needed including toiletries and firewood. Our teenage kids loved the game room. Beds were very comfortable after a day on the slopes. Highly recommend!
Plenty of space to hang out together (or not). Rave reviews from family members ages 6 to 53. Excellent location. Daniela was responsive and helpful. One of the best-appointed kitchens I’ve cooked in.
This was an old home with lots of character. Very comfortable beds and lots of rooms to spread out in. Great location on a somewhat busy street. Had a wonderful stay in Ludlow VT !!
We had a wonderful time - house was big enough for our grown kids and they loved the movie room and game room. We really liked how close it was to downtown and other area attractions. We hope to return!
The rental was clean and exactly what we needed. They even let us keep our motorcycles in the garage.

My husband and I live in neighboring town Cavendish with our daughter and our dog. We grew up in CT and both of us independently created memories at Okemo with our families. After getting married and living in St. Petersburg, Florida for 10 years, we decided we wanted to experience seasons and elevation changes again and moved to Vermont. We love the Okemo Valley area and we also still regularly travel to the coast (RI and CT, mostly) for our marine photography business. Living in the mountains makes us appreciate the water even more when we're working!
