We had s’mores by the fire and saw as much as we could of the mountains. Great location and just happened to be in town when Marion had its festival!!!

Very clean . Very quiet. All over stay was great !
I booked this small cabin for a weekend getaway with my husband and our dog. It was absolutely perfect for us. It’s located right across the street from the pool and pavilion which is really nice! Would definitely book again.
Cozy little cabin was budget friendly and exactly what we needed to enjoy the local attractions like Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns/Falls, and area gem mines. Gated community gives extra sense of security. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Host friendly and quick to respond to any questions.
My niece and need a place close to Mount Mitchell and Chimney Rock and this was perfect. The cabin was exceptionally clean and neat. The atmosphere was not terrific just tucked in a wooded spot among RVs but we just slept there and it was perfect

The only complaint i have is the shower. The shower head is very low; my husband had to bend to get into it. The place was clean, exactly has described. The directions were perfect. Awesome place, would stay here again.

The cabin was as expected. I was unsure where to go as we did not receive final instructions on the location of the cabin and had to make a stab as to its actual location. Easy check in process though. Nice, clean and new. Someone over 5'11 might find it too cramped. Good location for hiking locales and the Lake. The heat pump vibrates too loudly at night though. Would have preferred more washcloths. Liked the on demand hot water for the shower. Could have used one under the kitchen sink also.
This spot is super cute! Small, quiet, and private. The RV park has access to Lake James. It is right outside of Marion where they have great food spots and shopping. My husband and I went for a wedding and made a weekend trip out of it and it was perfect!
Overall, the cabin was wonderful. Cozy and comfortable. There were 2 issues. Out of 6 days, we had issues with TV/internet 4 of those days, not working. This necessitated several texts between us and host, becoming frustrated and irritated. When I reserved cabin I specifically asked about internet and TV access and was assured it was good. Then when we had issues, host stated "I think you are hooking it up wrong." and "its because of the country and mountains, it's wireless and this happens." I would like to have been told this when I reservd the cabin. The extender for internet and TV had to be rebooted I assume. Host told me to reboot extender in cabin, but it was not in the cabin, it was at the office. Employee Brandon came to cabin and helped, he was very cordial and helpful with the issue.
There were no instructions in the binder at the cabin that would have helped explain the situation with TV/internet.
Then on our last night, the locked gate was wide open and there was a live concert at the office/pool area. It went on for 3 hours and was very loud, booming music. We could hear the bass sound in our cabin which meant we couldn't sleep. I know it was a holiday weekend, but again we were not told this would be happening. Put a damper on an overall wonderful stay.
So I would say fix the internet/TV situation so it is more consistent. Don't have live concert near where people are trying to sleep.
They also need towel bars in the bathroom. There was an over the door rack that held the clean towels, but nowhere to hang wet towels after showering. Adding curtains to the bedroom windows would help with early morning sun (we bought a tablecloth, cut it in half and put them over the blinds on the windows. Also used TV trays for table in living room and bedside. I bought a small lamp to use in living room as it only had ceiling fixtures. They need a small set of drawers in the bedroom. We stayed 6 nights and needed a place for our clothes so we didn't have to keep pulling out our suitcases, would have been more convenient.
As you can see there are a few issues that if fixed would make this cabin a perfect cozy hideaway.
