This wonderful cabin is located on a brow that overlooks a gorgeous valley. The back porch provides a relaxing place to have coffee and enjoy a sunrise or sunset. It is located right outside of Petit Jean State Park which features many well-marked trails. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals. The bedding and blankets were super comfortable! The air inside and outside of the cabin was so clear! There is a fantastic coffee shop right down the road before you enter the state park. There is also a fantastic gift shop as you exit this property on the main road. We will definitely be back again!
Watching the sunrise and early morning color from the balcony was wonderful. Bed was comfy. Floor to ceiling windows are beautiful except in the afternoon when the bright sun makes it difficult to enjoy the living room or eat at the table. The coat hooks in the entry way were so very useful! Owner worked with me kindly when we needed to reserve for an additional night.
Some suggestions for the owner: Provide a small folding step-stool. It was very hard to see and reach the controls for the dryer. Rewire the downstairs bathroom so that the very loud fan does not come on every time the light is on. We did not even realize the mirror in the entry way had some directions on it about how to locate things like pods for dishwasher until the last day. Perhaps needs a darker pen color? Provide many more hooks or racks in the downstairs bath for wet towels/washclothes to hang. Please provide a shower caddy! For those who want to use their own toiletries, balancing them on the very tall in-shower soap dispenser was less than ideal. A lovely place to stay and these things would make it even better!
We absolutely loved it there! It was so hot out and the place was so nice that we actually enjoyed just hanging out there. Only suggestion is to bring toilet paper. We had to go buy some bc there were only 2 rolls per bathroom. We also had some raw chicken in trash from our first night and didn’t know where to put that trash that was so stinky we could not leave it indoors. More couch seating would be nice too. Our teens ended up sitting at kitchen table bc there wasn’t enough room for all to veg out on the couch. These aren’t complaints at all…we seriously loved it! Just some suggestions. We are already hoping to come back in the fall!
We look forward to staying here each year when we come to the area for the MOTAA swap meet. Our third year to stay here and it’s still in great condition and always nice and clean. Can’t be beat in our opinion!
Pulling up to the property set the mood for the stay. Went through the trees up the driveway then the cabins come into sight as the view opens up into a gorgeous view. Each cabin is beautifully designed with their own style. Our cabin was in great condition when we arrived. The view out of the window was stunning. Very peaceful, tranquil, and even had fireflies come out at night. Beds were cozy and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Conveniently located close to all of the trails and park. Super easy to check in and out. Would definitely stay again if we revisit the park.
Super cute little place to stay while hiking the area. Very clean, quiet and nice views. I am a hot tea drinker so loved the fact there was a hot water kettle. Just know the second bedroom is more of a loft that opens to the living and kitchen area. Luckily our entire group are early birds so it was no issue for us. We had breakfast every morning in the house and cooked one dinner there. Some suggestions for the cottage is a tv tray for the cushion coffee table or narrow end tables on either side of couch. A mirror in the upstairs bathroom maybe on the wall behind the door (the wall is the slanted A frame so no way to have a mirror over sink). Downstairs mattress could need to be replaced as our friends said there was a hump/crevice that caused them to roll toward the center. And maybe some directions on how to use the fancy thermostat and cute electric fireplace. Also need 4 wine glasses instead of just 2 since it sleeps 4 adults. None of these things would prevent us from coming back we loved it. Hope to stay again one day!
This property is wonderful! We stayed here for 2 nights while hiking in Petit Jean State Park. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The view from the back deck is beautiful. The gift shop at the end of the driveway had lots of cute things. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.
The cabin was easy to find with plenty of parking. The cabin was as advertised and very clean. All the amenities needed were available. The view was gorgeous and the area was very quiet. The cabin was so cute and comfortable. Check in and out was very easy and efficient. We had an amazing time! Would definitely recommend this cabin!
Amazing views super close to Petit Jean State Park
We had a great stay in this cute but modern A frame with breathtaking views. Everything was clean and we had all of the supplies that we needed. There was a amazing and almost scary thunderstorm one night that we could see so well out of the large panoramic windows! Great location, great house. We’ll be back I’m sure.
My family rented all 3 houses for a getaway. All the houses were super clean with beautiful views. We took advantage of the hot tub and fire pit each night. Kids and adults all enjoyed.
My husband and I stayed in this lovely A frame cabin just down the road from Mather Lodge. It was very clean and comfortable and a really nice view from the back deck. The weather was perfect and it was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub too. It only take a few minutes to get to Petty Jean park and with many trails and a lake. We would definitely stay there again.
From the pictures, I knew it was going to be beautiful! The best part was pulling up and from day one everything was better than expected! The view is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are very nice and well maintained. The cabin is perfectly done, modern but cozy! Last but not least the location is perfect. Short drive for hiking trails, yummy food and scenic views that are absolutely breathtaking! We will definitely be back over and over again!
Great place with beautiful view! Very comfortable and close to great trails and Mather Lodge Restaurant. Nice outside space too, sparkling hot tub and horse shoe pits were fun!
This is the PERFECT cabin to stay in if your looking for a quiet place on Petit Jean Mountain! Only 15 minutes from Morrilton and 30 minutes from Mt. Nebo, it’s in a great central location for any nature lover’s vacation. The cabin itself was so nice and cozy, it truly was a dream! My fiancée and I will surely be back to stay again!
Amazing place to stay! The cottage is beautiful, very clean & the view from the balcony & upstairs bedroom are breathtaking!! We will definitely return for another stay!! Thank you for a great time!
We absolutely loved our stay. The view was amazing. I would call this a posh cabin. Very modern and beautifully decorated. We hated to leave. We are already talking about our next stay there. Petit Jean State Park is right there so we didn’t have to travel far. Go ahead and book here. You won’t regret staying here.
We were very impressed all the way around. The cabin had everything we needed. We will definitely stay in one of these three A-frame cabins again. They are delightful.
Was an absolutely amazing stay. We hated to leave. Was the perfect place to ask my girlfriend to become my wife. She said yes btw. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. We had an awesome trip all around and the home was close to the top of our favorite parts. Wish we could have found the guest book to sign though.
This is a fantastic property that is more like a condo than a cabin. The view is amazing, the property is clean, and you’re secluded from the main road. There are three cabins here that each share a fire pit and jacuzzi, so keep that in mind.
