When you stay at this exquisite townhome with access to amazing resort-style amenities at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure, blissful days are spent lounging by the pool, boating on the lake, or swinging clubs on the golf course. Nestled on a heavily wooded cul-de-sac between the Bald Mountain Golf Course Complex and the Apple Valley Golf Course, this marvelous retreat is only one of six townhomes, offering more privacy and tranquility. In wintertime, you can even see the granite face of Bald Mountain between the trees on the deck. Fire up the gas grill for an afternoon cookout or simply sip morning coffee and bask in the peaceful surroundings.

The Great Room features plenty of plush furnishings for the group to kick back and enjoy movie nights together. An electric stone fireplace adds a warm ambience. Perfect for entertaining, a game room presents a beautiful wooden foosball table, a high-top game table with checkers and chess, as well as a TV with bean bag chairs. This TV is provided for gamers to attach their gaming system to the TV and spend endless entertaining hours! It also works as a monitor.

You'll find the bedrooms and bathrooms on levels above and below the Great Room. Each bedroom brings the beautiful scenery inside with views of the trees from every window. Find a king bed with a Casper mattress in every bedroom. In the primary suite, discover a TV and a private balcony with a two-person bistro table. When you are not tasting the local restaurants, the immaculate full kitchen has everything you need to create your favorite dishes. Helpful gadgets include a roasting pan, a dual coffee maker, casserole dishes, cookie sheets, and pie plates to try those recipes you have always wanted to! No matter the reason or the season, Treetop Serenade is sure to be a delight for your vacation crew.

Lake Lure is a man made lake that is drawn down 12 feet each winter season for maintenance. This will impact shorelines. Water will be back up to normal levels in mid April.

Good house

House was good for our family. Our kids enjoyed the game area. Kitchen is mostly stocked with things that are needed. It’s close to Rumbling Bald, which is where we went all weekend. Overall, our family enjoyed the house.

Perfect Place

Beautiful home. Everything you needed was provided. The layout of bedrooms were great for privacy with a large group. The Great Room was the perfect place to gather to watch movies, play games or just chill. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. We would like to come back and enjoy again.

Fourth of July Family Fun

Our family of 4 adults and 2 young children spent a week at this beautiful home nestled in the hills and trees of North Carolina. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings for quiet family times, but we were just a short drive away from the activities and dining of Rumbling Bald resort. We visited the pool and lazy river just about every day and enjoyed their annual 4th of July golf cart parade. We had a wonderful Sunday brunch at the Lake Lure Hotel (bring an appetite!) and enjoyed wandering around downtown Chimney Rock. The condo was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. (Just a warning: there are lots of steps so this is not a home for folks who might be mobility impaired.). Though we only took short family walks around the area, there is plenty of hiking, golfing, and other activities within close proximity for folks to enjoy. Other than a minor issue with the electronic entry (which was quickly responded to and fixed before we left), we all had a wonderful, memorable stay at the Peaceful Oasis.

Amazing home away from home!

The property is amazing! Felt just like our home, but in the mountains and with resort access. Interior was very tasteful, and not over the top. Beautiful view from all the windows, glass doors and decks. Owner was very helpful and friendly. All in all, one of the best locations that we have stayed at in Lake Lure, NC. We have been going to lake Lure for over 30 years, and usually stay inside Rumbling Bald Resort. This property is outside of the resort, but has full access to it. Will definitely stay here again!

Awesome Family Vacay!

Perfect place for gathering the family

This place has the perfect layout. The three bedrooms have their own bathroom. The common area is on a separate floor than the bedrooms, which is nice when some what to stay up and others want to turn in earlier. The kitchen is a comfortable size for fixing a meal as a family and well stocked, too! The hot tub and indoor pool a short walk away was a plus. Loved the mountain biking and hiking nearby. Plenty to do in the area for all different preferences. Highly recommend!

Can’t wait to come back!!!

We had such a wonderful stay here. Everything we could need was readily available, the beds are comfy, and everything was very clean. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, especially this time of year with the color of the fall leaves. We enjoyed having access to a pool, hot tub, and other amenities that made for an even more relaxing time. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Autumnal Family Frolic

This was our first family vacation since the beginning of Covid. The house was just perfect for the eight of us. Six adults and two children. There was lots of room to spread out and play games, do puzzles, watch football and smack down cribbage. The resort is so close with so much to offer. Be sure to book early for couples massage as they fill up quickly. I would highly recommend this home as a great get away. Our hosts Tammy and Frank have made their space so welcoming. Just be ready to climb a few stairs. The beds are amazingly comfortable. Can't wait to come back again.

Great place to stay

This is such a beautiful place to stay in. It was so nice and pretty outside, Beautiful trees everywhere‘s around you to give you a privacy of being out in the country in a secluded area even though there are people nearby. The inside was set up so nicely. Being set up with three rooms for two people in each room and each having their own balcony and bathroom being away from each other for privacy when preferred is so nice. Loved having a Jacuzzi in the master bathroom especially after hiking all day and being a little sore. But it was also nice to have the common area where you could sit and talk, enjoy the gas fireplace, watch some TV if you wanted to, or go out on the balcony and just enjoy the beautiful weather and the beautiful surroundings. It was nice to be able to cook your own meals and have the dishes/pans/utensils etc. you needed in order to do so. Loved having a grill to barbecue out side and put steaks and fish on that. It was so nice and clean as well. Having a place being clean when I get there is essential for me and it was. Could do laundry whenever you needed to. It was great having a garage as well. Loved the gas fireplace. It was also nice to have a foosball game where you can just play and enjoy and feel like a kid again. Truly like having a home away from home but being able to enjoy a beautiful vacation all at the same time. It was just a great place to stay.

Beautiful condo!

We were so pleased with the cleanliness, comfort, and pricing of this condo at rumbling bald. Our kids loved the amenities nearby at the main resort area (putt putt, indoor pool) and we all slept well in the king sized beds. We will absolutely come back to this unit if we visit Lake Lure again.

Great place!

Wow, nice place to stay 2 minutes from the gates of Rumbling Bald. Loved the quiet neighborhood. Nice to have a garage to park in and plenty of room for everybody. Loved enjoying the trees on the decks.

Great spacious home in a very quiet neighborhood in the trees

Our family greatly enjoyed this home! It is only 2 minutes from the gates of Rumbling Bald, but at the top of a wooded hill with only 3 buildings, a great tree covered neighborhood to walk in. Everyone loved the Casper king beds in all bedrooms, plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Loved the private decks in the trees for quiet time.
