Visiting Michigan Tech? Couples getaway? Business trip? This is the perfect place in downtown Houghton for your needs! Perfect spacious place for 2 with so much to do right out the front door! Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, parks, public library and more! Access to the waterfront walking path is in the parking lot. Enjoy the beauty of the Portage Lift Bridge!

This suite is located on ground level. Spacious bedroom and living room. Bedroom has a large closet, all linens and towels provided. Window unit a/c in bedroom. Smart Tv in living area only. Kitchen is well stocked. High speed fiber optic wifi.

So much to see along waterfront. Enjoy the views of the Portage Lift bridge and gorgeous views of the sun setting. Bring your own bikes or firewood and enjoy the waterfront path. (Public firepit area next to Portage Library). Many photo props along the path and painted murals to see. Walking distance to Chutes & Ladders park where there is paddle board and bike rentals, ice cream, corn-hole and more!

1 parking pass provided for duration of stay. Must be returned to suite upon check out. **Please pay attention to designated overnight parking area during winter months **

Quick Visit with MTU son

Came to town to visit senior son at MTU - started moving home some of his stuff. Great apartment right in the heart of town. Quick walking access to shops, restaurants and paths.

Great Hidden Gem

We were in awe once we opened the door to this place. Great for just the two of us. It had everything we needed and was very clean. We really liked the box lights for added light effects and the bed was very comfortable too. Nice shower and layout. Easy access to downtown. Parking was never a problem for us.

Perfect Downtown Hideaway

A fantastic modern apartment with all the comforts and conveniences we desire located right in the heart of Houghton. Owners are incredibly responsive and accommodating and keep the place well stocked and super clean. I highly recommend!

Nicely updated & convenient

The apartment is in a nice location and has been nicely updated. It's within walking distance to everything in town. Parking is across the street in the public parking area. There is a parking permit provided in the apartment for overnight parking. We didnt have any issue with noise, except for garbage pickup day.

Cute and close to everything

The apartment was very cute and stylish. A great repurpose of an industrial building. We enjoyed being in downtown Houghton and being able to walk to restaurants, stores and bars. Our car was able to be parked in a parking lot across the street from the apartment so it was easy to get out of town to explore the Keweenaw. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Houghton.

Great place to stay, even with noise

This place was great! The decor and apartment are comfortable and well done. The only issue we had was the amount of noise. There is a great deal of street noise being on the road, and parking was always a challenge to find someplace to park nearby until after 11:00pm when most businesses close. The noise is dulled with earplugs which is what we used. But just wanted to make sure it was mentioned so someone else is aware. However, the location and being able to walk all over town once we parked still makes it a great location to stay.

Very Soothing Spot

Stayed here while I dropped my daughter off for her first year at MTU. Was nice to have a relaxing place to stay while she made the transition. Had every amenity we needed, great location, and it’s super cute!

Unique Location

The pictures didn’t do it justice. This was a beautiful place. All the comforts of a fancy hotel. Towel warmer, rain shower head, lit cabinets and drawers. Beautifully decorated. Convenient location. We will look to rent this place again. Absolutely fantastic property.

I try to get to the area once a year or so and I would be more then happy to stay here. The owners where upfront, quick to respond and maintained the property nicely. It's location is also fantastic.

Best Houghton Location!

Cozy one bedroom apartment adjacent to parking deck and almost directly under Keweenaw Brew Company. Easy walk or drive to Michigan tech campus and walking to all downtown stores and restaurants. View of the water through a parking lot, but a very short walk to park on banks of the portage. Highly recommend this location for a visit to the Keweenaw.

Downtown Houghton Weekend Getaway

Me and a couple friends spent a weekend at this property and were very pleased! Very clean, stocked with lots of cooking utensils, bedding, towels. Pretty much everything you could need apart from food. Right downtown and close to our favorite restaurants and bars. It's a small place, but great for a place to sleep, shower, and spend some down time!
