The main floor has a spacious great room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, as well as a fully furnished kitchen featuring all stainless steel appliances, 2 refrigerators, a coffee/tea bar, kitchen dishes, crockpot, pots and pans, blender, and a BBQ grill on the porch. A cozy hearth room with a wood burning fireplace is located off the dining room area as well. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a loft with a ping pong table.

"Starter" kits are provided: trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, ziplock baggies, dishwashing and hand soap, dishwasher pods, linens for each bed, towel set for each bathroom, hair dryers, and a first aid kit.

Due to the newly installed carpet this is a smoke free/pet free home.

There is also a gravel boat ramp suitable for small to medium size boats and access to the boat slip and dock. The dock has a ladder to allow easy access in and out of the water.

We also have 2 kayaks and a lilypad you are welcome to use.

We are only 15 min away from stores, restaurants, antique stores, etc. as well as 30-40 min. from Bagnell Dam, Jacobs Cave, Bridal Cave, and Ha Ha Tonka, and Osage Beach.

This is a perfect place for large gatherings such as reunions, retreats, large families, etc.. Huge, scenic yard with acreage for campfires, yard games, nature walks through the woods, or just enjoy the view of the lake on the covered porch. Theres usually not a day that goes by you won't see deer roaming around in the yard. There is NO TV, but we do have WIFI. We hope you can detach from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy the simplicity of life in the outdoors, playing games, having great conversation, and enjoying each other. It's the perfect place for such a get away.

Fun Family Home

Wonderful time in this vacation home. It offers everything our family enjoys, a well stocked kitchen, outdoor grill and firepit. The family loved the ping pong table inside, large gathering area for games and a dock for our kayaks and paddle boards. They enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock. Great place for a family vacation!

Perfect!

We all loved the location, house and all of the extras! The shed full of water stuff for the lake was amazing! House was very spacious and supplied beyond our expectations! We had a great time hanging out in the house, grilling and swimming/kayaking!

Fantastic family weekend

This was the perfect place for my parents and my 3 siblings and their families to gather for a weekend. We made lots of memories and loved the dock for fishing and the open space for meals and relaxing. The hosts were very responsive to any questions and everyone raved about the spacious house.

Great property for family

Huge house with lots of room to spread out and do your own thing. Wildlife ALL over the place, so beautiful. Right on the water. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. We had 13 people and never felt crowded and all had their own beds to sleep in. Very clean and lots of kitchen gadgets and dishes. Great property and the owners are amazing to work with.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had the most wonderful time. The home was the perfect size for large family dinners. The property was clean and every ounce of it was well thought out by design. The teens enjoyed all the board games, the wildlife and ping pong table. We will defintley return. It was a great meeting spot for our family gathering.

Outstanding Experience

Thank you so much for the perfect location for our getaway. We relaxed in the many couches, around the gorgeous table, and on the property. The nine of us all agreed that the beds were comfortable and let us get some great rest. I cooked all of our meals and there was not a single thing missing from the kitchen. The fire pit out by the lake was perfect for our campfire. It felt like home. We saw deer many times throughout our stay. Thank you for hosting the first trip of our crafting group! Our only suggestion is an added railing to the front steps for those with mobility issues.

Excellent Accomodation

No need to pack the extras this place had games and toys inside and out for kids of all ages and plenty of space to stretch out both inside and out. Incredible views of wildlife and incredible fishing as well! Ownership is very friendly & accommodating. Highly recommend this place.

Room for the whole family

Family gathering with grandparents, parents and 3 sets of kids. Room for everybody and nobody had to wait to shower or use the bathroom! We loved the family room/dining room. Spacious and good amenities! We kayaked and swam off the dock. Beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked of items that made for a convenient and comfortable stay. Ping pong was fun too! Would recommend for larger groups!

Fun Family Time

This property was absolutely amazing. Kitchen was well stocked, very neat and clean, comfortable beds, and amazing access to the water. We had plenty of room for the entire family with a yard that easily held all the yard games we brought and very easy access to the water with our kayaks and paddleboards. In the evening we enjoyed the large area outside with plenty of seating. It was really nice being able to enjoy ourselves and keep everyone entertained on an amazing property with privacy at the end of a cove. Thanks for a very memorable family vacation with the kids and grandkids.

The Best Ever!

We have been going to LOTO for several years now and this property is our new favorite! Quiet and beautiful acreage on a quiet cove off of a cove. The house was beautifully furnished and had everything, above and beyond what you would need. We loved learning the family's story and rooms were decorated each with their own theme. Lots of room for parking, lots of green space for outdoor games, occasional wildlife. We were very happy with zero stairs to the dock. There were a couple of minor issues, the owner was very responsive and helpful. There is no TV, and with limited cellular coverage/Internet, we were able to really unplug and relax. Great location, easy to get to and plenty of services nearby. Everyone in our group agreed we want to come back next time we visit LOTO.

Perfect for our group

We love this place! This is our 2nd year to come back. The house is large spacious and has a beautiful view of the Lake. I love that it is at the end of the cove, so I don't have to worry about boats going by. The Lilly Pad at the dock is a wonderful addition for the girls to play on. I love that it's doesn't have a TV- that way I don't have to tell kids to turn it off and go outside to play. We would definatly come back!

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Joy's home. There was plenty of space for our group of 7. We had ages from 11 to 70+ and the home worked perfectly for us. Having bedrooms on the first floor was perfect for our older family members as there were minimal stairs to climb to get in and out of the house. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we needed (and supplies in case anything was forgotten). We prepared many meals in the home and had plenty of tableware and cooking supplies like pots and pans. The outside of the home is wonderful. Plenty of seating available and a grill that worked well. The dock was great for fishing, kayaking and swimming. The location of the house was nice. Because it was the very last house on the road, there wasnt a lot of traffic coming and going. There is a little grocery store just about 10 minutes down the road. Some of the more tourist type attractions like caves and hiking and boat rentals were about 40 minutes away, which was just fine for us to have a more secluded home to stay in. We would definitely recommend this home to other families. It was a great stay.

Awesome land!

What an incredible place. Words don’t do the place justice. The home is perfect for large groups and gatherings with plenty of room in the kitchen for cooking. The gorgeous table holds plenty not to mention tons of outdoor space on the porch. Everything was decorated to pretty and beds and linens were super soft. Everyone had plenty of room. The huge lot was perfect and flat for tons of fun yard games. This is rare for a lake property. There was an abundance of games, kayaks, and a lily pad for all the fun! What a great place!

Amazing Property

Phenomenal hosts

We’ve done many BnB/VRB properties across the country and these hosts were beyond outstanding! Very communicative beforehand and throughout our stay. The house was what they described and more. Great, welcoming host!

Every detail about this property was stellar! The hosts were so kind, and quick to respond with questions! The house was spotless and the space was incredible. You can tell these owners really go the extra mile by stocking the coffee bar, games, pantries, and closets with extra stuff you may have forgotten to pack. We chose this Vrbo to host our annual retreat, and I think this was the best one yet thanks in large part to how awesome the stay was! This property has been in the family since 1963. Our dad, whose initials are DEW, had a dream to purchase a piece of property at the Lake of the Ozark to have a "place in the country." This was just a large piece of land when they bought it and they spent many of hours and weekends clearing it. This was where they would camp and enjoy nature, family, and friends. Throughout the years they upgraded...their first house was the hut that you see when driving into the property on the right, then they bought a small little trailer. This was mom and dad's favorite place to be. Unfortunately, dad passed away with an aggressive cancer almost 20 years ago. His wife Dar decided that she would like to have a house built in honor of her husbands dream.(Hence the themed rooms of Dads passions.) One of her most favorite things to do was host people. Unfortunately, she developed Alzheimer's shortly after his passing and is now living in assisted living. It's been a long journey...over 10 years in the making, but we have finally decided now was the time to finish this in honor of our parents. There are 3 brothers (Dale, Scott, and Mark) along with their wives, 16 children and lots of grandkids who enjoy the property. This has been a wonderful place our entire family has made and continues to make countless memories together. We hope your family can experience the heartwarming, relaxing and enchanting allure of DEW Dream Acres with lots of laughter, fun and memories of your own!

Why they chose this property

This is a unique piece of property with lots of room (approx. 60 acres) to spread out!
Wildlife abounds. Most days you will see deer in the back field, as well as turkey, owls, eagles, ducks and blue herons in the water nearby. There is a gravel boat ramp onsite for small to medium sized boats and a covered/roofed dock. We are only 15 min from grocery stores and restaurants. Ha Ha Tonka, Bagwell Dam, caves, etc... are less than an hour away. Our house is equipped with everything you need from kitchen supplies, appliances, 2 refrigerators and basic kitchen staples like flour, sugar, oil, spices, and condiments as well as a full coffee and tea bar, towels, and all your bedding essentials. There is a hearth room with a fireplace, ping pong table, basic baby needs such as a playpen, baby gate, play toys, etc...We also have 2 fire pits for campfires. There are yard games in the creek shed you can use along with pool noodles, rafts, and life jackets.
