Beachfront Beauty on Northern Pond

Who builds a house during a pandemic?!? We did! It was a challenging year navigating unprecedented cost of materials and delayed deliveries, but we are now welcoming you to be our guests and enjoy the fruits of our labor.

Features:
3 stories plus spectacular rooftop deck with a 360 degree view of the Pamlico Sound and Ocracoke Village.
Beachfront with use of 2 kayaks on Northern Pond - the perfect swimming hole.
Covered parking under house plus large parking pad for extra vehicles.
Cargo lift from ground to each floor.
Custom details, stained glass windows, tiled baths, granite countertop and comfortable brand new furniture.

1st floor includes a spacious screened entry porch and outdoor shower, foyer, laundry room, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath with tub/shower.

2nd floor includes open concept living room, dining room and kitchen with pantry and half bath plus a large deck with view of the Pamlico Sound.

3rd floor includes a large suite with spa room, walk in shower and soaking tub, and private deck with the same wonderful water view. Plus there is another 1/2 bath and cozy den for movie night, bunk beds and access to the spiral staircase to the roof.

Rooftop includes a deck with seating for sun bathing and star gazing.

Fabulous Water Front Property

The house is wonderful and the view even better! You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the roof top deck. Centrally located to the restaurants and shops. Kathy, the host, was very responsive and helpful. We’ll definitely rent the house again!

Fall Fun

I have been going to Ocracoke for 50+ years with my family and have stayed at so many properties. This one was spectacular! The views are wonderful from the main area and also the rooftop. The kitchen is well stocked and communication and the check in process was seamless. Highly recommend.

Thankgiving at Ocracoke

Wonderful Thanksgiving family gathering at the most beautiful house overlooking the Pamlico Sound. The house was beautifully decorated with all the amenities we needed. The children loved viewing the stars on the roof deck. Their first experience in seeing such a dark sky. The host was very responsive to any inquiries we had. Ocracoke is a very special place. Great Gathering Place

We stayed with our 10 and 12 year olds who enjoyed their bunk room. We also invited Gran and Pop, who appreciated the first floor bedroom. Loved the rooftop view, doing puzzles, and the open main living space!

September Family get away

10/10 all around, some properties look great in pictures, but don't live up, this place is immaculate. Communication with owner was great, house was spotless clean. I would highly recommend bringing your own mattress pad for Master king, unless you like sleeping on a rock.

Best View on the island.

Our first trip to Ocracoke was the year we met in 1981. We fell in love with each other and the island, never thinking we would someday own a home with the dream of someday living there. Currently working in Raleigh with 2 kids recently out of college, we escape in either direction - to the island and to the NC mountains (check out our Blowing Rock listings #486190 and #1182504.). We look for folks who also share an appreciation of Ocracoke and would enjoy staying in an island home on a sandy beach that captures times past. Our hope is that you will feel part of this community.
