Our 31 year old son had a kidney transplant January 8. He had to recover close by the hospital and since we live over 2 hours away, we rented this house. It’s only a few minutes away from the hospital so it was perfect for us!
Overall it was a very nice place to stay in a nice neighborhood. The only issues were with the furniture. We found the living room a bit formal and not very comfortable. The master bed was so incredibly high my husband and I had to sleep in one of the other smaller bedrooms. Really liked the back yard and the screen porch.
This house was amazing!!! My daughter and her two dogs were visiting from Florida. Perfect location - close to everything in the heart of Winston Salem. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. House is decorated so nice and very clean. Comfy beds, great kitchen .... fenced in backyard with shade - dogs loved running around! I will definitely plan on staying here again when family comes into town.
Stayed here with my spouse, 4 kids (14,7,5, 10m) and our dog. The place was a perfect for us. The fenced in back yard allowed my littles to play without a worry! The basement room allowed my teen to take some quiet space away from everyone when needed. The home was beautiful and provided everything we needed. From a baby changing mat, crib, high chair even bottles and a bottle brush if needed: the kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed to prepare a wonderful thanksgiving dinner and the large dining room table gave a great space for us to share a meal all together. My ONLY negatives and this is personal preference is the master bed his high off the ground probably 4 feet and mattress seems new and not broken in.
Overall the house was perfectly situated for our needs as we were attending a wedding. The house had all the amenities that we needed and was in a lovely, quiet area. Communication with the host was very good and they always responded promptly. Highly recommended place.
We were in town for a family celebration. The house accommodated 5 adults and 2 dogs. There was plenty of space and the location was perfect. The pups especially enjoyed the fenced yard and doggie doors.
We loved the location in a sweet neighborhood. It is close to restaurants, grocery etc. and the house was very clean and tidy. We also really appreciated the porch and deck. The mattresses seem new but not overly comfortable. We would stay here again but bring an egg crate for the beds.
The location and property were fine EXCEPT the master bedroom mattress. It is not an exaggeration to describe it as sleeping in 2 trenches. The mattress is completely worn out with no support, and worse yet I looked back and saw comments about a mattress issue a year ago. We aren’t light sleepers, but this was beyond belief bad. It appears the attempt to fix it was to add a mattress topper. It’s sad to have to lower the review rating, as everything else was fine and the location great for our needs. This is an easy fix but long overdue. The primary reason people would rent this house is a good night’s sleep, and this didn’t happen.
We had a very nice stay at this house for our daughter's college graduation. House was clean and spacious for three of us and four people would be very comfortable. Back yard was nice and screened in porch served as a nice second dining area when our whole family (7) got together one night for dinner.
Initial check in email did not come through, but the host was extremely responsive to my messages and we had no problem getting in. Location was very good and close to many things. Recommended!

No Dog Door Cover and Potential Critters
The two uncovered dog doors led outside and allowed for critters to enter the house. We were not comfortable with this, so we checked out a day early. Nice house, but dead bugs and cobb webs on the patio, the refrigerator leaked from the bottom leaving a puddle of water for potential fall hazard and it was not clean.

Very disappointed
We were renters from 7/26-7/30/2023. The ice maker and refrigerator did not work. The refrigerator was dirty. The maintenance person kindly replaced the refrigerator, with another one from the basement, at 7:30 in the morning. He needed my 85 year old husband's help. The original refrigerator leaked all week requiring towels and our washing/drying. Because we never had an ice maker we had to buy ice. The coffee pot was dirty with old moldy coffee grinds. Owners had to replace it. We had few utensils and pots and pans. Owners gave us a set of utensils. There are spider webs, cobwebs. There is a large cut out hole on porch through which apparently an animal is trying to get in to the house. A squirrel was seen at one point and we used a cooler to block the large hole. The mattress in Master is extremely poor and uncomfortable and caused us back problems. And my siblings indicated their beds were poor as well.
