** Our resort has been building its own state of the art water treatment facility for the past 3 years and it finally got put into full operation recently, but we are currently under a boil water notice due the treatment plant start up. You may want to pick up some bottled water for the trip or if boiling - water only needs to boil for 3 minutes and then pour into the water pitcher once cool and keep in the fridge.
***Our mailing address is considered Kelowna, but we are half an hour outside of the city of Kelowna and about 40 minutes outside of Vernon. There are no major grocery stores or gas stations on the way. The location is better for a "stay in/relax/get-a-way from the city" type of vacation, with the occasional trip in to town to the wineries/golf courses etc. If you want to be "close to everything", this is probably not a good fit property for you. We do have a small store at the resort which also has a kitchen (counter service with dining area). They do a great job with the store and have some fun stuff (ice cream, special coffee, etc.)

► PLEASE NOTE ◄
►Minimum booking days may vary by date depending on the neighbouring booking dates and VRBO may not reflect these minimums
►Garage is owner's supply storage and not included in the rental
►There is 2 car parking on the driveway and extra parking very close by. Driveway should be large enough for a boat (depending on your boat size).
►For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have external security cameras located:
1. Over the garage which monitors the driveway/front yard.
2. Doorbell camera which monitors the front door/entry porch.
3. Inside the garage (owner's only area)
There are NO inside cameras.
►Pool & hot tubs are open seasonally. Lower pool and hot tub is open approx. May 1 to Thanksgiving and the upper pool & hot tub are open approx. May 15 to early September. Closures can happen due to maintenance but there will normally be at least one pool and one hot tub open between the start of May and the end of September, but we can not guarantee due to unforseen events.
► Cottage is family-friendly but not child-proof. Property is NOT FENCED in and the resort is surrounded by wooded nature.
► The resort is in a wooded area that is largely wilderness. As such, it is possible to get 4-6-8 (or more) legged, winged, or crawling visitors both outside and inside. This cannot be 100% prevented even with regular pest control.
► Never leave food items in the vehicles, and never leave food, food leftovers, or trash outside.
► A FEW RULES ◄
►This is a family resort, so no parties. Please respect our neighbours, quiet time is between 9am to 10pm. Fines from bylaw will be charged to guest.
► Guest will need to sign a rental agreement, agree to strata rules, and resort guest registration form via adobe e-sign within 2 days of receipt (guest needs to provide their email address for the e-sign within 24 hours of reservation being accepted). Failure to sign within 2 days of receiving rental agreement will result in cancellation of the booking at hosts discretion. Bookings made 1-2 days before arrival need to be signed the same day to avoid cancellation.
►Minimum age to rent 28. Photo id needed to verify renter name and age of renter.
►Guests are responsible to review strata rules and are responsible for any fines imposed by the strata for breaking any strata rule.
►Maximum 7 guests, including children/babies and strata fines for over occupancy, which guest is responsible to pay ($200 per fine). Immediate cancellation of booking without refund if maximum occupancy is exceeded.
► No refunds will be given for weather/power/internet outages, fear of driving on narrow roads, change of plans, or life events. Please consider appropriate TRAVEL INSURANCE.
