Short drive (0.5 miles) to the Salt Ponds beach/ Rams-head trail head. Also within Walking or driving distance to several less well known beaches. The Container was cool and comfortable. It even had electricity, WiFi and a flat screen t !!
Love the connection to the ourdoors with the comfort of AC indoors for sleeping. Great location and ideal for easy hiking, swimming access. Perfect for adventure

We loved this upgraded glamping. Very comfortable with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a tv. Thoughtful common space amenities including space in the refrigerator. Enjoyed the use of beach chairs and snorkel gear for the day. Great location to Salt Pond. We loved our hike along Ram Head Trail and had gotten sandwich provisions at the market for a picnic. We hiked into Great Lameshur Beach but the beach is all rock. Definitely need a jeep/car and not a lot over on this side but we drove over to Trunk Bay/ Cinnamon Bay and highly recommend sunset at The Windmill Bar. Recommend Coral Bay restaurants as the closest to the property and taking a boat out to Lime Out. (Note 5.8 miles will take you 25 minutes)

Just as advertised! Hiked Rams Head trail one morning from the property. It was nice staying on the east side for a couple of nights to hit up salt pond and Lameshurs. Loved that we could use the refrigerator and they provided drinking water. They have a great set up and provide a lot of extras like beach chairs and charged battery packs so that we could charge our cell phones at night! Thank you!
We loved our stay camping under the stars in the national park. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we would hang out on the couches making breakfast each morning. Our hosts were extremely helpful before and during our stay. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much for the awesome experience:)
Bill and Emily welcomed us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the grounds. Everything was clean and neat. Thoughtful accessories for cooking and relaxing. Beautifully landscaped. Comfortable beds. Very close to many wonderful bays and hiking trails. We hiked to 6 bays and snorkeled each from this location. The area is very hilly and wildly beautiful. Hardly anyone in any of the beaches. And the snorkeling was as good as we have seen out near the points and we have seen a bit. Do not hesitate to book here. We enjoyed very much and hope to return.
We loved our stay! Campsite had everything we could need and more! Air mattress with very comfortable. Fan made sleeping perfect! The beach supplies were a huge perk for us! First trip with beach chairs! Drinkable water, coffee, fridge, cooler, nice hangout area…it was a great stay for us! Host was super nice and always responded quickly! Hope to return!
Bill was an incredible host and everything on the property was perfect! From the Amenities, Utilities, The Tent, and Activities it was truly awesome. 10/10 would recommend anyone looking for a Glamping Experience in Beautiful St. John!

Lameshur Cottages have a beautiful location and wonderful owners. They made us feel very much at home. We couldn't have asked for more. Being so close to some of the best beaches on St John made it even better.

bill is a friendly host and the place is an easy walk to a great beach.
I took the $1 VI bus from St. john Port (Cruz Bay), and it drops you just 3 houses down from the spot. Excellent spot if you avoid the costly rental vehicles. Ken and Amanda were great help and I stayed up later having a cold beer with them and talking with another couple staying there. Highly recommend as a all of the individuals are cool and down to earth. They know tons of the island.

About the host

Hi my name is Bill and I live on property with my wife Emily. We moved down to the beautiful island of St John in 2020 from CT as we were done with the cold winters. You will find us enjoying the National Park hiking trails and beautiful beaches for snorkeling.
Why they chose this property
We love the remote location of the property while being surrounded by the National Park as we can walk to many beaches or hiking trails
