Once an old warehouse, now a gorgeously renovated modern home with five bedrooms, four bathrooms.

Walk into a large great room complete with ample counter space for meal prep and high end appliances. A ten-foot dining table means your entire group can sit and eat. The kitchen is comfortably stocked with basic cookware.

Three sofas are surrounding a large flat-screen smart TV.

Three of the five bedrooms have a connected bathroom. High-end mattresses and plush linens will let your group recharge after a long day in the city/

The private patio features an eight-person hot tub and outdoor furniture for the whole group to enjoy.

Guest Access:
Street parking is easy to find and is free for guests. The Warehouse is set up for self-check-in allowing your group privacy and flexibility.

The Neighborhood:
Located two blocks from the streetcar line, groups can easily spend the day exploring the French Quarter or Marigny neighborhoods. Street art is everywhere, covering buildings throughout the neighborhood.

The house is less than a mile walk from the live-music paradise of Frenchmen Street, and a 15-minute walk to Bourbon St and the Mississippi River.

Walgreen's, Starbucks, and Robert's upscale grocery store are .7 miles away. While street parking is generally available, there is a fair amount of street traffic and the block is a mix of residential homes and commercial businesses including the popular Dee's Xquisite Seafood and two dive bars: the GOAT and Poor Boy's.

The home is in an up-and-coming area in between the well-known Treme and Marigny neighborhoods.

Less than a mile away, you can hang at the Hi-Ho Lounge which has nightly live music, comedy, and dance parties; Kajun's Pub, a 24-hour karaoke bar; and The AllWays Lounge & Cabaret with drag shows and local theatrical productions. Other great spots nearby are St. Roch Market (upscale food court with several amazing food vendors), New Orleans Boulder Lounge (climbing gym), and New Orleans Healing Center (Yoga and similar classes).

Getting Around:
The house is a few short blocks away from two streetcar lines that will take you anywhere in the city in style, including Downtown, the Garden District, City Park, the French Quarter, Uptown, Audubon Park & Zoo, and more.

Uber and Lyft are available and easy to request from the location. Plus ample free on-street parking can be found in front of the building, making renting a car a great option.

You can walk to many of the destinations from the house including restaurants, coffee shops, and dive bars alike.

Interaction with Guests:
We probably won't see each other during your stay. I like to give my guests privacy but am always a quick message away.

Quite an adventure in New Orleans

Our stay was mostly good. House is beautiful. I wish there were more locks on the front and back door. There are a few repairs that need to be done in the house. The toilet in one of the rooms isn't secured down. There is a big hole in the wall in living room. Other than that, I think its a fun place for a family or group to stay. We sure appreciated the air condition and the huge kitchen!

Bad location; Bad value

This property is in a sketchy neighborhood. The online listing deceptively indicates that it's near Frenchmen st/market area, but it's well up into the 7th Ward. The windows are frosted over/curtained for safety, which makes the place feel like a bunker, while the front door is flimsy and felt like it could easily be kicked in. There's a nearby biker club that roars up and down the street all night. The place is updated, which is why we chose it, but then there were issues like the hot tub being gross with unchanged water. Definitely not worth how much we paid. For this bad location the cost should be much less. The hosts are very nice and responsive.

About the host

Host profile image
Hi I'm Megan and with my property managers Wallace and Rebecca, I'd be thrilled to host you!

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this property and enjoyed renovating it. The renovations were complete in December 2021 and I am thrilled at how it turned out. It used to be an old warehouse and corner store that was abandoned for decades. I loved being able to bring it back to life and give it a whole new life!

What makes this property unique

I can truely say there is only one place in the city like my Arts Warehouse.

The exterior has hand-painted murals from local New Orleans artists. The back patio is private, and includes tons of seating and a hot tub for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
