House was comfortable and clean. Surroundings were pretty and the owner was very nice to deal with. Will try to stay here again when I come home to see family.
Its an awesome old farm house! Loved talking woth Dexter and my 3 big dogs fell in love with the property and didnt want to leave! The host was awesome and very responsive to any questions we had! Will definitely rent again when back in the area!
Very nice location out in the middle of nowhere! Our dogs loved the huge yard and liked talking with Dexter! Clean and very comfortable! Will definitely consider staying again if we come back to the area!
Jill and her husband were so nice. From the snacks they brought to being flexible when we needed to add days. We especially appreciated being able to bring our dogs, and they loved Dexter. The farmhouse was cozy and comfortable. It felt like being at home. I highly recommend the farmhouse.
The house was built in 1898 and definitely a farm house which has been refurbished. It is located in middle of a pasture which is interesting and fun. House is not fancy but welcoming and cozy.

It was so nice to find this hidden gem on our journey. Everything about this place says welcome home. The peaceful surroundings was exactly what we needed after the busyness of the highway. We would highly recommend this place if you just want get off the beaten path.
Such a beautiful and peaceful stay! My son, grand children, (10,13) fur babies and I enjoyed it very much. There’s lots of outdoor room to enjoy, and the house is clean with lots of nostalgia. Watching the donkey was a bonus! It was a very much needed peaceful stay. Would definitely stay again if out west.
We booked this a year and four months before the eclipse, so we could get to totality. This property was beautiful, quiet, and isolated, which is just what we needed! Being able to sit outside and just listen to nature was wonderful. We lucked out with the weather - summerlike and beautiful as well. Jill messaged us with all the information we needed and gave us choices when someone would be there for some maintenance. Very happy with this place.
We enjoyed our stay! The house is adorable, very comfortable, and Jill was a great host! Very good communication prior to our visit and the day of. Dexter the donkey was a hit! My son enjoyed giving him the treats that were there to give him, and the kitty on the property was very sweet also. We brought our dog along and she loved the property also. It was nice having the large grassy area to walk her around a bit after the few hour drive we made. All in all a very pleasant stay!
Great experience. We live in a tiny apartment in Denver with no yard, so the dogs were blown away …they had the time of their lives. I want to live in a place just like this. …perfect. Jill was very communicative and hospitable. We will have great memories of the farm and Dexter the donkey!
Great country getaway. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this slice of heaven in the country. When pulling up to the property between the rows of corn we came upon a mama deer and her baby. When we got up close to the house there were several turkey that took flight out of the yard. Dexter the donkey was a wonderful host who greeted us when we arrived and bid us farewell when we left. Jill made sure we were taken care of and the house was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. My parents can't wait to visit again so they can stay at their new favorite home away from home.
When i pictured my dream home this house is it. There is so much land and the dogs loved it. I have never seen my dogs so happy to run around and play here. The house was super cute and we loved the personality in it. Jill was super nice, accommodating, and had the most amazing communication abilities. Im a bit sad that we only stayed for one night and we will definitely be staying in the future. Also Dexter! We loved him he was so sweet and so were the barn cats! Just absolutely amazing!
We didn't get to spend as much time on the property as we would have liked but we enjoyed our time. It was a peaceful spot on a secluded property. Meeting Dexter the Donkey and the cats on the property, as well as enjoying the scenery, was the highlight.
The house is quant, maybe a little cluttered with unnecessary furniture making the spaces feel a little small, but we loved all of the plant life and nostalgia as well as the coffee area.
The upstairs was a little rough for sleeping as the ceilings are low and the steps are steep, and as a larger girl I was worried the bed frames wouldn't hold my weight, may be better suited as book nook. but that is a personal opinion. The downstairs bedroom is cute, but could use a slightly bigger bed for couples (even though a full is listed, and is accurate) and maybe some shades to block out that 6am light for those that like to sleep in. Of course, these are all personal things that I prefer when I stay places. The host was amazing at checking in with us and making sure our needs were met. This is a perfect place for a few singles just passing through or wanting to get out of the city and live the country life for a few days.
I visited with my boyfriend and 2 pups over Thanksgiving. We had the most wonderful time. SO RELAXING. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place to go! Dexter the donkey made this stay even better!
Jill is so kind and sweet! She brought us a pie the day following Thanksgiving. She is a weaver and welcomes guests to try and learn the process. You couldn’t ask for a better host!
