This stunning home is the ideal spot for entertaining and relaxing all within 20 miles of downtown Austin. The Getaway was specifically designed to accommodate large groups, sleeping up to 18 guests. This spacious 7 bedroom, 3800 square foot house features a brand new heated pool and hot tub, outdoor grill, covered patio lounge area, large living room with big screen TV and completely open floor plan. There is an incredible game room with arcade games like classic Pacman as well as Big Buck Hunter, Golden Tee and Cruis’n Blast Driving Arcade. Whether exploring Austin and the surrounding area or just looking for a place to gather with friends and family, The Getaway offers something everyone will love.

About the space
The Getaway was remodeled with a focus on a comfortable and luxurious lifestyle. This 2-story house boasts expansive windows with views of the outdoor patio and pool area. The brand new heated pool and hot tub also includes a suntanning shelf with gentle waterfall. Whether sunbathing on the deck chairs, relaxing under the trees or taking a dip in the pool, the backyard offers a spot for fun and relaxation. Relax under the covered patio while firing up the propane grill. The game room is completely decked out with poker table and the ultimate arcade game experience including:

The easy flowing floor plan makes this house ideal for gathering large groups together. The plush and comfortable living room allows for plenty of natural light to come in a bank of windows overlooking the backyard. There is plenty of room to gather around the large screen TV to watch a game or favorite show. The kitchen is completely open with bar seating and breakfast table. The kitchen bar adds extra prep and serving space with easy access to the 5-burner gas range and oven. The kitchen also includes a microwave, crockpot, toaster, blender, drip coffeemaker and Kuerig.

With 7 bedrooms sleeping up to 18 guests, each room is a peaceful place to rest and recharge. The master bedroom upstairs boasts a king bed as well as a cozy seating area. The attached master bathroom is a private spa retreat with a stand alone bathtub and huge walk-in shower. The bedroom downstairs is a queen-size bed with desk area.

Grandson's graduation from UT Austin

We enjoyed our stay in Austin and had a great time. There were 4 couples and my granddaughter that stayed in this VRBO. We had plenty of room and everyone was very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and spa and were happy that plenty of pool towels were provided. My group especially enjoyed the game room. We also prepared several large meals and had everything we needed to do so (not always true at VRBOs).

Wonderful Getaway & Celebration

Family get together with 12 staying at the house and 5 locals coming to visit. Had the best experience with such a well thoughout home and amenities! Many personal and helpful touches made this the perfect home for out group! The hosts were so accomodating and generous and everything was exactly as promised! I would recommend this home to anyone and hope to visit again when we come back to Austin!

Great house for all ages

Great house for our family group ranging in age from 9-74. Despite the cooler temps, the pool and spa were warm and enjoyed by all. The game room was also a big hit and the parents appreciated that it was easily turned off at bedtime via a remote. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room had plenty of seating for our group.

Perfect for our annual family gathering

Wedding weekend

This house was amazing! The pictures are exactly how the house is. It was clean, spacious and beautiful. The pool and hot tub were amazing!!! We had 14 plus people in and out of the house all weekend that flew in from all over the country for a mutual friends wedding and this house is the spot that we were all able to gather and hang out! Thank you so much to the owners! It was an unforgettable weekend!!! Absolutely no regrets about booking this location!

The Perfect Place!

Perfect getaway for a group of friends/family!

There are so many wonderful things about this house - where to start?! Easy check in process to a house that is perfect for a group of friends and family. Our group included both, and everyone was so impressed by the amenities and cleanliness of the house. Amenities - garage converted into an arcade, with two sets of bunk beds and brand new video games. A beautiful Pool with Pool toys, new pool furniture (those lounge chairs that sit in the water!), bbq, an outdoor cooler and More. There’s also plenty of additional backyard with grass on one side of the pool for kids to run around. More on the inside of the house - big kitchen with eat in area plus a separate dining room, and living room with plenty of couches and seating areas. There’s a full bathroom downstairs plus bedroom, and so many rooms upstairs that’s it’s hard to remember how many! Primary bedroom with beautifully done bathroom - very spa-like. Another 4-5 bedrooms, another full bathroom and yet another full Jack and Jill bathroom. One of the rooms has two sets of bunk beds. The entire house is so clean and obviously very well taken care of. This is the perfect house for a large family/group. Easily accessible by highways, all the stores you need within 5-10 minutes away and a quick 20 minute trip to downtown Austin. I highly recommend this property!

The pool was amazing !

Such a kind host and wonderful house . My kids and grandkids LOVED being together. The only thing that would make it better for anyone with toddlers or young children would be door locks high on the 2 doors leading to the pool (for extra safety). The host provided everything we needed plus more for an enjoyable stay…

Lovely stay for me and my family

The pictures honestly don't do the property justice. There's so much space and the check-in process was so easy. Instructions were easy to understand and posted around for easy and inconspicuous reference. I honestly didn't think we'd use the game room much but we came to love playing Buck Hunter and Cruisin' which was a great casual bonding opportunity. Would definitely stay again.

Absolute Perfection

Our family came to Austin for Christmas and wanted you find a place that could accommodate all 14 of us, and this place was everything we were looking for and more! The heated pool was amazing and got lots of use even amidst the frigid Austin temperatures. The game room was a perfect spot for young and old alike to bask in the warm glow of technology. The grill and kitchen were perfect for our large group and had everything we needed. All in all, this house exceeded all our expectations, and the hosts were so easy to communicate with and were tremendously accommodating. Highly recommended this home and wouldn't hesitate to book another stay here!

Beautiful home for our family gathering

This home was perfect for our 13-person family gathering. Our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about this place. The game room was a huge hit and perfect for all ages. Shhh. Don’t tell anyone.

Stayed here with my sister and mom when we were visiting her son and granddaughter. The pool, game room and kitchen were a perfect backdrop to create memories that will really last us a lifetime. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. Owners were extremely responsive. Pool was immaculate. House was immaculate. I never put my clothes in peoples closets and I felt comfortable doing so here. Everything worked. We would return in a second.

Pool + Arcade = Family Memories

This property is a hidden gem in North Austin, with very easy access to downtown. The kids spent so much of their time either playing in the arcade or swimming in the pool. The pool has a nice waterfall feature with an attached jacuzzi. The kids also loved when we turned on the pool LEDs and bubbles. As a gamer, it’s nice to see new and high dollar arcade games (Big Buck, Golden Tee and two linked Cruisin Blasts) in addition to a few classic arcades. This property will be on our shortlist when hosting family gatherings in the future.

Great Holiday Weekend Stay-cation

This place was great! We got together here with some extended family who were visiting from out of state for a long holiday weekend. This house had plenty of room for both of our families and my wife’s parents to stay. Every room of the house was very nicely furnished and well-equipped. The kids loved the arcade, especially the side-by-side racing game. We all enjoyed spending a lot of time out in the pool, which was in full shade by late afternoon. This place was a nice quite retreat, being tucked back in a neighborhood. It was the perfect place for our family gathering, and could easily accommodate even more if we had needed it.
