We came to Flagstaff to do the Elden Crest 38 mile race, part of Cocodona 250 week.
This property was PERFECT! Great location, beautiful views, easy to commute everywhere. Quiet, safe, convenient neighborhood! The amenities of the home were excellent! Very comfortable beds, HOT water, lots of cooking utensils! Cozy blankets to sit a watch the ducks in the morning on the deck! Loved having a garage! Who’s definitely book again!!
My husband, our 3 year old, and I decided to sneak away for Christmas this year from Tucson to Flagstaff for a week and I'm so glad we picked this home. It was the perfect getaway. Close to anything and everything flagstaff. It's in a nice, quite community and the little lake veiw was great, although you can't do anything with it (not allowed) but my favorite part was being able to have a lit fire place in the cold weather while relaxing and enjoying my family. Bill and Kim were excellent hosts and were available whenever if needed. The house well stocked with all the kitchen necessities, games, warm blankets and much more. There's even a couple different areas for you to work if need be. We will definitely be taking more family trips to flagstaff in the future and this home with be our fist pick!
A great place to rest and relax in a beautiful setting inside and out. If you enjoy watching deer, ducks, geese, cranes and even storks that stopped by for a visit, you will love this place. It is close to restaurants and other businesses. The house was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Bill and Kim were great hosts!
My husband and I stayed here for a month while we worked remotely in the mornings and hiked and biked in the afternoons. The house was great for this-- we had plenty of room to set up 2 computer work stations: the bunk room had a desk that worked well and there were several folding tables available in the garage that we used to set up a second work station in another room. The two main bedrooms had very comfortable beds. We don't know about the bunk beds. The open kitchen/dining/living area was excellent for us. Easy to socialize when our adult kids came to stay with us for a week. Really liked the large kitchen island. The location is excellent-- easy into town, easy to bypass rt 66 if you want to avoid traffic. Deck has comfortable seating to relax and sit by the lake and bird watch. Owners were easy to work with, very responsive, an we had absolutely no issues at all. Only slightly negative thing is that the larger bathroom with two sinks is down the hall, whereas the bathroom that is off the master bedroom is the smaller of the two. But it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely recommend this house as a comfortable, clean and convenient place to stay.
Bill & Kims house is an abosulte gem! The location is perfect to relax with the lakeside view plus moutain. The animals you get to watch from the deck include deer, squirrels, osprey, geese, ducks and more. We could sit on the deck for hours enjoying the sunrise and sunsets. The house had everything our family neede (10 month old) from pack in play, great big soft beds, plenty of soft carpets, kitchen fulled loaded to cook at home, grill on patio to enjoy the outside weather, garage and plenty of parking. Wi-fi and entertainment options were great from boardgames to TV.
We are already looking to make this a yearly summer trip. Bill was attentive for any questions I had. Great people and home.
