Reservations at this place turned into a nightmare

the host told us we did not have a reservation. He was arrogant and would not listen to us when we called on our way to his motel. Best I could tell, he didn't show that we had a reservation, and maybe, he had a room we could book. Very odd situation and difficult to understand him. We decided it best not to pursue driving further in his direction and sought accomodations in Beaufort, SC, but there were no vacancies. We spent the night in our vehicle. It was a first for us and wouldn't want to repeat.
Stayed 1 night in Apr 2025
