Fun stay

Hamner's Hideaway has a lot to offer rain or shine. Large tv upstairs and downstairs, pool table and ping pong table, tons of board games, single and double kayaks as well as paddleboards. The only glitch for my family is not being tech savvytWould recommend this stay!

Awesome week at the lake

John's lakehouse was perfect for a relaxing week at the lake. The house has all the amenities of home. The kayaks/paddle boards, ping pong, pool table and games kept everyone busy and having lots of fun! We loved our stay!

Lake life at its best!

Wonderful week at Hamner’s Hideaway! The home and location were even better than described. Plenty of room for our group of 6. Kids loved the games and lake toys. We will be back!

Perfect for families!

Three generations had a week of fun at this gem of a vacation home! Arrowhead Lake is peaceful and beautiful, and everyone had plenty to do all week long with the pontoon, kayaks, SUP boards, games, pools, and golf! Home is well stocked with any amenity you can think of. Beds very comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a fun and relaxing getaway!

Annual Independence Week Vacation

We have been traveling to Lake Arrowhead for 35+ years. John and Maggie’s home was one of our favorite stays! The house was equipped with kids entertainment, stocked kitchen, lake toys and plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks for your hospitality!

Amazing Thanksgiving

We had a great stay at this Lake Arrowhead property. My husband, my oldest daughter, my granddaughter and I drove from Virginia to meet my middle daughter and family who live in Madison, WI for Thanksgiving. The place was perfect for us. Lots of room, a very cozy atmosphere, beautiful setting, comfortable beds, a completely equipped kitchen and lots of games including a ping pong and pool table. It was very clean, had plenty of towels and lacked nothing. We got groceries at Aldis in Wisconsin Rapids and even went to the movies to see Moana 2! We had a great stay and would highly recommend the place. It was just what we needed! Madison, WIMadison

Relaxing

Very peaceful and relaxing. This home has everything you need. Lots of board games to play,pool table,ping pong,dart board ,kyaks,paddle board's and a pontoon boat if you want to spend a little bit extra(definitely worth it) did a lot of fishing and just boat rides. Very nice and friendly lake community and if you want to get out of the house for a night check out Big Bear mini golf & Ice Cream and The Gift Shop. I would Highly recommend this place for your next vacation or getaway !!!!!

The whole package

Great house great location! The house is well stocked with linens and dishes. Pretty much other than our clothes all we had to bring was food. Nice dock out back to fish off of! We had 8 people stay and there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool table, pac man arcade, ping pong table and dart board were great and a lot of fun. Host is very responsive and was easy to work with. Has a nice burn ring out back to have smores and cookout. Overall we enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again.

Family Time

This is an above average property in a very nice area. There were a variety of activities to be involved in and plenty of space for our group of 8. It is well equipped both inside and out. Our only negatives are that a bathroom in the basement would have been much appreciated and we were disappointed that the pontoon was already rented out when we tried to reserve it a week before our stay. Nonetheless, one of the better VRBO places that we have stayed at. We would go back to this one!

Everything you need and more

This property has so much to offer!! There are plenty of things to do outside and inside, within the house and property itself, but also as association benefits. They also go above and beyond in providing high quality linens and the little extras that stand out- beach towels, bug spray, and any kitchen accessory you might need. Hosts are quick to respond and helpful.

Great vacation home!

Very nice place! Clean. Had everything you absolutely needed.Lots of things available to use in the water. Lots of things to do in the basement was great for our few rainy days we had.Our adult children and 3 year old granddaughter loved the oversized bean bag chairs😀Lots of things to do in the area . Ate at some wonderful places! John was super nice! Thanks for a great time!

Hamner Hideaway

Had a great time at Hamners in Nekoosa, WI. The house was great. Very well equipped for cooking and relaxing to visit with the family. The basement was a great hit with everyone - toys for the granddaughter and games for the adults!! The pontoon boat was very nice for cruising and fishing. John and Maggie are great hosts. We had a couple questions during the stay and they responded immediately. We had a very good time and look forward to another trip!!

Wonderful stay!

This was the best VRBO property we’ve ever rented! It was immaculate, well-equipped, and generously stocked. Comfortable beds, furniture, and linens. Despite being in a neighborhood, the location felt very private. We stayed with five children ranging in age from 16 months to 8 years. They had the best time in the game room and playing on the giant beanbags when it rained, and they loved fishing off the dock (lots of catches!) and kayaking when the weather was nice. The layout of the house and yard made it easy to keep an eye on them near the water. John was friendly and easy to work with. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy his place!

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

Our family had a great time at Lake. Arrowhead. The house was clean, comfortable and a perfect set-up for our family with adult children/teens. There was plenty of room to spread out, and the basement with pool table & ping pong table was the perfect spot for kids to hang out. The beds were very comfortable. Having the dock right on the property was great for keeping our boat there all week. We spent most of our days out on the boat, but there were plenty of good games/puzzles at the house when it rained. John was great to work with, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Hoozels was our favorite restaurant nearby. It was a perfect lake getaway!

Lake Vacay

This property has everything you need and more! A fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out. The home is super dog friendly which we appreciated. We spent most of our time on the lake with the pontoon boat that we rented from the owners…..swimming, fishing & sunset cruising. Kayaks too! Quiet mornings drinking coffee and reading on the deck. Nights around the campfire. Located down the road from gas and groceries. There is plenty to do in the area. Papa Bears putt putt was visited more than once. The kids loved the bonus basement, the owners did a great job with it. So much to enjoy!
