We had an amazing week at this house right on the tidal waters. Owner was close by and so responsive and accommodating. We had a clogged toilet that he was able to fix within hours. House was very well stocked and a perfect location. I kayaked off the front deck every day. Would stay here again for sure!
Enjoyed the property very much. Owner Steve was very friendly and communicative. Beautiful setting at high tide. Breezy all day and night- needed A/C only once during late July stay.
Easy walk into Portsmouth for shops, museums, restaurants.
Cute family cottage on the water, loved having kayaks and bikes available. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Just sitting on the porch watching birds made every morning great. Hope to visit again.
We loved our time in Portsmouth and this house was the center of our satisfaction. In Portsmouth, there is so much to do, so much access to beaches, Maine, with water everywhere…and this house was a good place to have to always come back to. Kids and dog loved the dock and water, kitchen and grill (with view) was well equipped, beds were comfortable (our 16 year old loved the basement room w/ its walk-out). Access to everything was easy by bike, walking or car…kids went out jogging from house too. The owner (who lives nearby) was very kind, generous and attentive (as was appreciated). We hope to come again.
We want to live here permanently! We could watch the tides come in & out from the lovely back deck all day long! Walk to town. Huge property, great backyard. Private dock. Incredibly accommodating host. Comfortable bed. Quiet, tranquil. Our best VRBO stay yet. Dog friendly! We hope to visit this wonderful place again!
The place is a gem, with water access right in the backyard. Yet it is close to the center, within walking distance. Nice restaurants nearby as well.
Steve is a great host. He let us check in earlier, stopped by to welcome husband explain things. He made available kayak and paddle boards to us to use. Also easy to communicate with.

My Family home since 1958. My year round residence but for one month during the summer season. There are water sport toys available as in kayaks, paddle boards, life vests, and bicycles with helmets too. If child care is needed for an adult night out my teenage daughters are available?
