I don’t usually leave negative reviews but felt I needed to let other potential renters know about the experience we had. First, the owner did not send any check-in information to me, I had to request it on the day of check-in. When we arrived to what is advertised as a 2 bedroom condo with 2 queen beds, we were surprised with one queen bed and the other bedroom had a bunk bed with a trundle bed underneath. This was not an ideal sleeping arrangement for our group. The pictures on the listing even show the two bedrooms with two queen beds. This is false advertising in my opinion. Then, about a couple weeks after our stay, I received an email from the travel insurance company for damage claims against us. It stated a replacement for the trundle mattress (we did not use the trundle), replacement of broken blinds (the blinds were broken when we arrived), replacement of dining chair (we used the table and chairs once and did not break anything). Also, we were accused of theft of a fold up beach chair. The chair was broken, rusted, and mildewed. It was completely unusable and was probably a $20 chair at best but it was claimed that it cost $130. When we took it to the beach and the back fell off and rusty water fell on the sand beneath it, we went ahead and threw it away. It appears to me that since we purchased the travel insurance, the insurance company is being taken advantage of to get necessary repairs made to the condo that should have already been taken care of.
