Welcome to Island Escape! The perfect place to relax, unwind and get away from it all!

Our 3 bedroom 4.5 bath home is nestled inside the popular Clearwater Harbor Neighborhood with wonderful amenities including a pickleball court, sand volleyball, basketball court and a neighborhood pool.

The 3-story lakefront home is fully stocked with lake toys, pool toys and anything else you might need to make your time at the lake fully enjoyable.

Island Escape sleeps 10 and has balconies on all levels to soak in the views of Lake LBJ. This home has plenty of outdoor seating and lounging space for your whole group!

For your convenience, a boat ramp is located in the neighborhood and a private boat slip may be available for your use, PLEASE INQUIRE AT TIME OF RESERVATION.

Also, you may rent a boat right in our own neighborhood (just inquire at time of reservation).

One of Island Escape's best features is that it is one of a few homes in the neighborhood that provide a unique sense of seclusion as there are no neighbors on the east side of the home.

And for the fishermen in the group we have had many guests and neighbors catch lots of fish at our home! You can fish right off the bulkhead in front of our house.

Home Features:

Level 1: The perfect place to relax and unwind. Grill up your catch of the day on the Big Green Egg. Enjoy the Covered Dining and Lounge Area while watching your favorite sports team on the outdoor TV. Lounge in the Private Pool which can be heated upon request (Heating Fees Apply). A bathroom is off the patio for your convenience.
Entertainment and Activity equipment is found in the garage and includes Kayaks (2), Paddleboards (2), Bicycles (4) Pickleball equipment, Ping Pong, Pool Toys, and a Washer Board game set. Charging plug for EV.

Level 2: The main living area includes a fully stocked Kitchen, Coffee Bar (Keurig & Drip), Full Bathroom, Laundry Room, and Living Area.
Step out onto the balcony where you will find plenty of seating and a Gas Grill. This is our favorite place to enjoy morning coffee and the beautiful views of the lake.

Level 3: All 3 Bedrooms and 3 full baths are located on this level along with a bunk bed area with 4 additional beds.

Immaculate Waterfront Home

Beautiful home with great views. My family of 4 adults and 1 teen were very comfortable during our stay. The house is new and clean. The furniture is stylish and very comfortable. We had an amazing time in the pool, on the lake with the paddle boards, and kayaks. This was one of the most comfortable stays I have had with VRBO. I truly felt like I was home. There are a lot of stairs. Unloading and loading the car, you'll get your steps in. ;) Debbie, you are a wonderful host, we look forward to our next stay. Thank you for sharing your home!

Perfect Memorial Day holiday

This group of 9 of us have been spending Memorial Day weekend together for many years. Most recently switched locations to Lake Travis/Lake LBJ area. This property, location, owner has been the best experience of all - so much so we already signed up to return next year. Hands down a 10/10 experience.

Wonderful Stay for Thanksgiving

We could not have asked for a better rental for our stay Thanksgiving week. Home was beyond equipped with all kitchen items we needed to prepare for Thanksgiving. They have gone above and beyond in ensuring the kitchen is organized and has everything you could need. The rooms were spacious and comfy for our family of 7. There was lots to do from ping pong to pickle ball. Even caught bass on the first day off the back “porch”. Neighborhood is quiet but perfect for walks or bike rides. Looking forward to staying here in the summer. Cannot say enough great things about this rental. We have stayed a many VRBOs but this one takes the cake in the small details that go a long ways.

Family & daughters birthday weekend

Stayed the weekend to celebrate our daughters birthday! House had everything we needed, plenty of space, privacy, comfortable, and would stay here again. Only thing to note is the bunk room doesn’t have a door to close.

Would definitely stay here again

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at this property. The home was extremely well stocked with everything from kitchen appliances/utensils to items you could use outdoors. This house also had a very good amount of information regarding all the details we needed for our stay, so we never had a need to bother the host which is always nice. I also loved that the kitchen had stickies noted for where everything should go, so it was easy to unload the dishwasher and put all cookware back in their rightful place. Our group especially enjoyed the plunge pool and it was nice that the backyard area was shaded in the evenings to get out of the sun after being out on the boat all day. The dock for the boat in this community is an easy in and out which was great, and the boat slip worked out well too. Our group of 4 couples decided we would definitely be willing to rent this house again!

Wonderful Stay

Communication was great and timely with the owner. Our family had a wonderful time staying at the property and spent a lot of the hot days in the pool. The use of the boat slip was very convenient. The property was well stocked and we look forward to staying again in the near future.

Definitely worth it!

This is the perfect getaway home! The owner did a great job with this home. She definitely put a lot of thought into this rental property and making it cozy for her guests. The close location to the water made it convenient for rental boat companies to come get us from the dock. Definitely worth renting this place!

Perfect getaway for the family

We absolutely loved our stay at Island Escape. We had 5 adults and 5 kids from our family and it was the perfect set-up with separate rooms and baths for everyone. The house is just as pictured, super clean and beautifully decorated. It also had everything we needed to cook, grill and just enjoy hanging out together as a family for a long weekend. The pool was so great and our kids’ favorite feature, but we had fun with ALL the other toys provided as well. We kayaked, tried a little paddle boarding, played ping pong…there was so much to do! We also picked up some bait and let the kids fish our last evening there and they caught about 4 each in less than an hour! We made some great memories and hope to be back soon!! Thank you again Debbie for sharing your home and for being so great through the whole process!

Perfect large group vacation home!

This was the perfect getaway home for our mother daughter friend group stay - we loved the spacious kitchen, available activities, proximity to the lake and the pool (especially having both shade and sun!) The house was well stocked and it was nice to have snacks laid out for the girls! Highly recommend!

The perfect house for our family!

The Island Escape was a perfect fit for our family. The amenities were amazing. We used the paddle boards, kayaks and swimming pool. We also did some fishing. With 6 adults and 4 kids it was perfect for us. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need. This is the nicest experience I’ve had in a b&b. We will definitely stay here again. Wonderful property for a family getaway!

The house is amazing, right on the water with everything you need for a fun stay! We enjoyed the outdoor area and pool overlooking the water. We kayaked, rode bikes, swam and had many yummy meals cooked at the house. The host was amazing and got right back to me when I had a question. I would recommend staying at this immaculate house!

A five star retreat!

This home is the best of the best! The details that the home owners went to make this get away a great experience shows the moment you drive up. The location of home is unique from others in area, as you have privacy because it is on the end of the lot. The amenities at home make you want to just stay there and enjoy. Biking, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming are just a few. The home is beautiful and the thoughtfulness of anything you might need was much appreciated. An amazing property! Wonderful lake house

House was beautifully decorated, very clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The pool was lovely and had a sunny and shaded portion. Loved that it was at the end of the street and had extra pool space and no neighbors to one side. The kids were out fishing all the time and caught a ton of sun fish and bass to toss back in. Location was also the perfect base location for a day trip into Austin or San Antonio. Owner was wonderful and very easy to communicate with and accommodating.

Clean, comfortable, and luxurious

Stayed here over the New Years holiday weekend with close friends and had a great time. The house is clean, spacious, comfortable, and feels upscale. There was plenty to do on site for all ages. We played lots of board games, ping pong, pickle ball, and the littles loved the pool. We watched college football games on the tv out back and enjoyed the outdoor lounging while the younger ones swam. Our families had a blast and made great memories. Awesome trip!

Great trip in Kingsland! Had a wonderful, clean, nice, fun vacation rental! We had our family and another family, 9 in total, that were all very happy with our stay. The owner responded quickly with any questions I had or request for suggestions. We enjoyed the pool, ping pong, kayaks and paddle boards. I highly recommend this rental!

Awesome Vacation Rental

Great Rental Property. Owners were attentive and property was even better than advertised! Even helped when we figured out we left a computer bag behind. Location is great and had everything we needed an then some. Highly recommend this property and already wanting to go back.

Why they chose this property

We have rented and owned another home in Clearwater Harbor for several years. When the opportunity arose to purchase Island Escape we knew it was the perfect place for our family to gather. With the larger bedrooms with King Beds, extra sleeping with a built-in bunk area, the gorgeous 1st story patio with an endless breeze, the list went on! We are thrilled to now call Island Escape our own escape from it all and we look forward to sharing many family memories for years to come! We hope you will have the same experience with your family and friends.

What makes this property unique

We love the fact that our home is a bit secluded but we are also able to see and experience all that lake life provides We love watching the boats coming and going under the bridge. Our waterfront is a favorite for local fishermen and we love seeing what the catch of the day is!
