About this property

Cozy two level home - 2 minutes from beach on private wooded lot.

Private wooded lot near Grant Lake. Sleeps six with option of 8 with owner permission. Large family room for entertaining. Outside patio and deck. Kitchen stocked with everything necessary to cook. Seven miles from downtown Bemidji. Outdoor patio with a grill.

There is a large shop attached used to store construction equipment that will be locked to the VRBO and though we will attempt to not require anything from the shop during your stay, if there is something needed, we will certainly give you a heads up at least 30 minutes prior to arrival.

In the Woods

Beautifuly tucked in the woods. Nice and clean and spacious. It had everything we needed, the upstairs was so cozy. I recommend bringing your own jugs of water as the tap water had a sulfer smell to it, nothing we couldn't handle.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at Shawn’s. I stayed with my dad who is 95 and my brother. We were there to visit with our dads brother who has lived in this area all his life and all their older siblings were raised there also. Access to all the Bemidji area has to offer was easily accessible for us and we enjoyed seeing all our family members who are still in the area. Sawn was easy to communicate with also. Thank you Shawn for a great place to stay.

Perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect place for our family vacation…very clean and comfortable, well-stocked kitchen for cooking, fun area upstairs for movies and games, and perfectly tucked away in the woods (but close to town to get everything we needed)! We were focused primarily on fishing and visit the nearby state parks, and this provided the home base we needed. Thanks!

Quiet, Wooded Getaway

The accommodations were as listed and shown. Located a short drive outside Bemidji. We enjoyed our mornings on the patio and room to spread out over the course of our stay.

Great rental, everything we needed!

This space was perfect for our New Year's weekend getaway. We have a Freshman at BSU and we rented this property to attend her basketball games, spend time with her and be able to have home cooked meals. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the upstairs space to watch movies and play board games. This property is a bit outside of Bemidji, but the drive was not bad at all and there were several different routes to take depending on where in town you were going. It was a fantastic alternative to staying in a hotel. The hosts were wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions we had. We definitely plan to stay here again.

Beautiful house and great location

Loved this house. We came for our wedding anniversary with our kids. Our oldest loved the big driveway for bike riding. Beautiful location tucked in the woods. Close to Bemidji for dining and shopping options. Would highly recommend this rental.

Hiking and biking weekend

Wonderful home base for a weekend of exploring the Bemidji area. Loved sitting on the patio listening to the breeze through the trees. So clean and well appointed.

Perfect peaceful getaway

This property is quiet and very private. Easy access and minutes away from Bemidji. The upstairs is very spacious and relaxing. If you’re looking for something peaceful, this is it. Great Place!

Amazing property

The house was perfect! I had family over to visit and we had plenty of room to relax. The house is located next to a lake with beach access and a fishing dock. The owners thought of everything! Having smart TVs so you could log onto your own accounts was awesome. Will definitely be back.

Quick Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay on the property. Everything was very nice and clean... we had everything that we needed and we will be back for sure. The upstairs room is incredible, especially for kids! So much space!
