Great cabin for New Years trip.

Everything was great with the exception of the cleanliness in terms of dust on the inside and the beer cans left by the hot tub and in the yard. There were leaves all over the decks and steps which we swept off when we arrived. Great location and plenty of room for three couples and a toddler.

Pleasant stay

This cabin is in a beautiful setting, and it’s quite lovely on the outside, the inside is pretty as well but very much needs to updated. it is an excellent cabin for couples with kids or for larger groups. Would be a five star review if cabin was updated and a few minor repairs. Over all a very pleasant stay though.

Great location

The location of this property was perfect. The layout and design of Sanctuary was great. My only complaint is the lack of cleanliness. There was an odor, like pet dogs had been in the home. There were also remnants left from the prior users. (Wrappers, bottles, etc.).

Better than the pictures.

This place was pretty awesome. It could use a little TLC to be perfect. The door fell of the rail in the bedroom and shower.(they came right out and rehung it). It had a few burned out lights...no biggie. Everyone loved it.

Outdated and dirty

My family and I travel frequently, and have visited Pigeon Forge at least 6 or 7 times, and unfortunately this was the worst cabin we’ve stayed in. I can deal with an older place or it being outdated, but the unkept and uncleanliness is unacceptable. Several of the bathrooms still had dry urine on the toilet seats and around the floor of the toilet, the kitchen floor was so sticky and had not been mopped. It was very clear that no one had vacuumed, there was debris, several pieces of loose change and dirt on the carpet. We also found hair in the showers and the main floor bathroom toilet handle was broken. Luckily my husband is handy and fixed the toilet so we could use it. The coffee machine leaked everywhere, and we did let them know and the person I was texting with was polite and friendly, and did get that replaced for us. Overall, I would not recommend staying in this cabin, due to the condition of the overall appearance and the cleanliness. We could have stayed in a really nice hotel for $300 a night.

Good, but could be better.

We arrived late in the evening to check in to the cabin. Thankfully you can easily enter the house with the key code, so no need to check in at a desk. We were all exhausted and ready for bed, but the upstairs had no air and the shower did not work, so our kids could not sleep with it 84 degrees at 11 pm at night. There was no mention of no air in the listing, but we got a note in tiny print in the check-in email the day before we checked in when it was too late to change or cancel. This almost seemed like a bait-and-switch, as we would not have booked this home without proper cooling systems in the heat we have in the south. A worker did come out the next morning and get the shower working, but he could not get the HVAC upstairs to work. He put in an urgent ticket, but no one ever came to fix it. There is a small window unit in the bedroom next to the gaming area, but it's not big enough to keep the upstairs even bearable during the day or cool at night without running it full blast 24 hours a day. Most of the house was pretty clean and updated, but the floors needed more attention. My feet stayed black if I walked around without foot coverings, and everywhere I stepped on the non-carpeted floors was a bit sticky. Also, the lamps in the downstairs bedroom don't have working switches on them; you have to plug them in to make them work and unplug them to turn them off. Pest control needs to come out and spray around the house and someone needs to clean the outside of the cabin, as there were a lot of cobwebs and spiderwebs with some scary-looking spiders on all three levels. The metal chair on the bottom level deck seems broken as my husband sat in it and it leaned him almost all the way back to the ground. The doors on the main floor bathroom tub/shower are a bit hard to slide and seemed like they might be trying to come off the track. This tub is not for those with any type of mobility issues, as the sides are very high. This is unfortunate because only the main level is accessible for someone with mobility issues, as stairs are required to access the downstairs and upstairs. Each level has a deck, but you are right next to the neighbors and there isn't any type of privacy screens except for a small one right above the hot tub. The hot tub was nice. The cabin is in a decently quiet area and super close to the parkway in Pigeon Forge (less than 5 minutes). We could hear the train from Dollywood and just barely see the fireworks at Dollywood through the trees. The carpeting on the stairs is thick and plush. The beds were reasonably comfortable as well and there are tons of places to sit and relax. We really did enjoy the cabin but there are just a few things that need fixing or cleaning, and the air situation upstairs needs to be updated on the listing, because that would have been a deal-breaker had we known.

Girls trip

The was enough space for us to spread out and rest after the days activities. It was a very quiet neighborhood. There was some trash left on the porch when we got there and the showers need to be update to accommodate people with movement issues. But other then that it was a good pla e to get away for a couple of days.

Our (cold but) awesome vacation

This 3 story cabin was perfect for the 3 couples. We each had our own floor and comfy beds. The hot tub and fireplace were big hits and having a gas grill was awesome. So close to all attractions but quiet and serene too.
