Very nice place to stay

Be prepared for disappointment

This property was dirty and outdated. The photos in the listing do not match the current state of the property. There were stains on the carpet when you walk in and all of the sheets were stained. The worst part is some of the sheets weren’t even washed and clearly had sweat stains or possibly even urine stains on the mattress cover. There was different kinds of hair all in the sheets leading us to believe the regular sheets and blankets weren’t washed. The shower curtain had mold on it. There were ants crawling on the walls in one of the bedrooms. The front door barely locked and you could shake the door. The pull out couch was broken, we attempted to pull it out so one of us could sleep on it and the metal legs on it were clearly snapped and we weren’t able to push it back in place so there goes a couch to sit on. I will say it was easy to communicate to the host and they did accomodate us for an early check in however when it came to a refund or form of compensation they gave us a measley $20. After going through this experience I looked into the reviews and the negative comments made in previous reviews are accurate, nothing has been changed or fixed. I do not recommend staying here.

Oasis ??? Not

1 star motel at best. Greeted with a dirty porch floor and furniture. LR rug and couch stained. We did not want to even sit on the porch or in the LR. Kitchen stove was a mess, mismatched dishes, no toaster, 3 coffee cups, used dirty sponges left (I brought my own). No lamps in bedrooms, no remote for TV in second bedroom. No soap or trash bucket in Master BR. Dirty floor and long black hair (not mine) in the Master BR. Of more concern was the door lock barely felt like it locked and even though the bathroom windows were frosted I could see my sister inside from the outside and there were no curtains or blinds on the bathroom windows for privacy. This place needs complete renovation. I have stayed in roadside motels that were better.

Do not recommend

While on my way to the rental I completed the check in and received a message that stated thank you for renting 2 bedroom/2bath duplex. When I first booked the rental I was under the impression that it was a 4 bedroom/2 bath home. I explained that to the host but was made aware that it is in fact a 4 bedroom but it was split into two units. I said I will make it work. While on property we used the pull out couch which had crumbs and some other stuff on top of the mattress, I went ahead and cleaned it and then found sheets to place on the pull out bed, I found a gray comforter to place on top of the bed but then found a dried yellow substance on the comforter and made the host aware, the hosts reply was that the linens should be cleaned because the cleaning lady was just there. Thankfully I found an extra comforter not as thick but folded and clean in the closet of one of the rooms. The pull out bed was also broken so to be able to sleep on it we had to place big cushions at the end of the pull out bed to prop up the end of it to get it somewhat straight. We then had to battle with big cockroaches. We had been on the road over 24 hours straight through and had to stop at a family get together. After 36 hours of just wanting to get to the rental and just relax and sleep turned into a nightmare with this rental and it was my first time renting. I’m hoping the host ensures this becomes a stress free rental for the next renters.

Nice but a few things

Nice property for traveling. I would recommend the host have a book with wifi password, laundry lock combo, etc. I felt like a pain having to contact the owner for everything. She was very responsive to the issues we had .

Great place

Very clean, good area, and host was very responsive. Check in was easy and we really enjoyed our stay we even walked to a near by ice cream shop that was very good. This place was perfect for our stay!
