Very nice place

Our cabin was lovely, and the views were fantastic. Overall it was very peaceful and met our need to escape human noise. Our only negative was being by the boat house. The staff decided to have a party on Saturday night, and with the music and noise, we came here to escape; the experience was spoiled. I could stay in the city free to hear that kind of noise. So we left and went into town and had a good steak. I had hoped to fix some fresh trout we had on the grill at the cabin, but the fantasy of escape to the woods was broken. I am sure living there, the staff takes the absence of human noise for granted, and yes, they do need to live a bit too. Also, I had to take the dog out during the night because he was agitated. He had alerted to noise from the dock. When we went out, I was entertained by a couple having sex on one of the boats tied at the dock. Seeley Lake is, after all, a community, so one expects a bit of human activity; though I could do without a party, And though the sex was entertaining, a few minutes of watching was enough. A-plus for stamina. I found the resort generally tranquil. Overall It was a good experience, and I will return. The lower Swan Valley is a beautiful and restful area.
