When hunger strikes, gather in the sleek kitchen sparkling with stainless steel appliances. The island in the center of the kitchen provides plenty of prep space and a bar for additional seating. When the meal is prepared, dine together at the table for four and enjoy your view from the window. This three-bedroom home also features a gorgeous sunroom. Furnished and full of windows, this room is the perfect palace to sneak a quiet moment in the morning or evening. Bring a cup of coffee into the sunroom and enjoy the picturesque views of the surrounding nature.

From the deck, guests can hear the sounds of the nearby creek. Take a dip in the hot tub to unwind or gather around the firepit for camp stories and s’mores.

Perfect getaway
This was a perfect retreat! We traveled to North Carolina to pick our kids up from summer camp and needed a place to rest our heads, do some laundry and enjoy some family time. Morningstar was everything we needed and more! We enjoyed reading in the sun room, enjoying meals on the deck with the sound of the creek and playing football in the side yard!

We typically stay in the same place when visiting Maggie. Our home away from home wasn’t available and rather than push out our dates we took a chance here. I regret it more than one could ever know. The pictures don’t show you just how old and dirty this house is. The carpets up stairs were filthy. The bathrooms were oddly shaped and old. It appeared that there were attempts to upgrade but they were not done well. Toilet paper holder in spare bathroom upstairs was falling off the wall. The windows were old and held no heat in the house. We had to keep the fireplace running to keep it warm. The master bath had zero room to move in as far as getting in and out of the shower. Forget about bathing 2 little ones in there. The stair case looks like it was falling apart and needs to be inspected to ensure it won’t. The ceiling in the bedroom downstairs was a whole issue. The tiles were yellow and the ceiling looked like it was falling apart. I was so disgusted and disappointed. Off the kitchen, before you go down the stairs is a fan that practically took our heads up. One look over the railing to the downstairs, if you were not paying attention or forgot the fan was there, you’re getting seriously injured. The hot tub was dirty. The icing on the cake was the bat that was in the master bathroom. It’s always a joy to wake up at 3am with 4 children in the house to a Bat flying in your bathroom. We had to get a towel to attempt to catch it, which isn’t dangerous at all!!!!

Beautiful, private, and clean!
The perfect location for our annual girls’ trip! Close enough to Asheville and other areas for entertainment and shopping and dining, but remote enough for privacy. Fantastic amenities, comfortable beds, plenty of space for four women. We all loved it, and would 100% stay again.

Cabin is great but was filthy and broken!
The cabin itself is pretty and the location is great! The issue is with the cleaning company. Each room of the house had some kind of issue, my husband had to fix the fireplace, a remote, a fan, the tv, and unclog one of the shower drains. Each bathroom looked like it maybe had a quick wipe down but definitely not a cleaning, there was hair in each bathroom from the moment we got there and the hot tub hasn’t been cleaned and the water level was super low. Overall, the owners of the cabin have taken care of the place and have included everything you need in the kitchen to cook pretty much anything. I would stay here again IF Vacasa ensured it was properly cleaned.

Thanksgiving retreat
This was a great place for us to stay with our family. The home is so warm and well appointed, really could not think of anything more that they could have provided. And the management company, Vacasa didn't leave anything to chance - great communication and care that we had a wonderful stay!!!!

50/50-Hot tub was dirty cloudy and un-useable, hair in bath tub, deck had tree nuts and leaves All over it and it rained so we couldn’t clean off the cushions. King bed you can feel the springs in it. I did reach out to support and no one fixed the hot tub. We stayed 4 days. Maybe this post someone will reach out and make it right? The views were pretty. The location is nice.
