The host were fantastic, went way over and above to make our stay perfect. Even went out and found flowers for my wife on arrival. The spot was great, the riming couldn't have been better with all the snow.
This cabin offers the perfect place for a secluded and quiet romantic getaway. The views from the bedroom are spectacular! The numerous space heaters and amazing gas fireplace ensured we stayed warm during our visit. Mike and Cindy provided amazing directions to navigate to the property if a loss of cell signal occurred. They also provided wonderful details about the property, a great check out process, and even nearby locations for dining, grocery shopping, and emergency locations. If we are ever back in the area, we would 10/10 stay again. Thank you Mike and Cindy for being such great hosts!
The cabin is really great, perfect size for two people. It is pretty cold, the bedroom isn't well insulated and it hit -3 one night so we were pretty cold, even with the space heaters. But other than that it was just what we were wanting. Great view from the bedroom, fireplace was cozy, easy to get to, all the cooking stuff you need. Loved it and we'll be back for sure, just with warmer pj's.
The cabin is perfect, comfortable, lovely, places was excellent to spent time in a quiet area! It was our Christmas vacation but it feels like our honeymoon!
What a beautiful little place! We really enjoyed our stay.
Sitting by the fireplace and watching a movie while the snow fell softly outside the window was like a dream.
Thank you so much for making our weekend wonderful.
This property was 5 star spectacular! The views out of the bedroom window, day and night, were breathtaking!! We came to experience the hiking in Wasatch State Park and Unita National Forest. Nothing short of amazing views, although I wish we would have seen more wildlife.
This place is a little piece of heaven! It is cute and cozy and the views are spectacular! Just perfect for a couple get-away. We hope to come back again and again.
This property is oriented toward couples, but it is just as amazing if you are staying on your own. I was needing some separation from the City while also having a comfortable, relaxing getaway. Going this route ended up being far superior to renting a hotel room in almost every way.
The property is a stone's throw away from Park City, very easy and quick to get to. It's nestled back in an area of private properties, just off a well-maintained dirt road. The cabin itself is a bit older in origin and has been nicely retrofitted and modernized. Everything is solid, very rustic, but immaculate and supremely comfortable. One of the first things I noticed upon stepping inside was how plush and soft the carpet was. I could honestly sleep on it.
The view from the bedroom is even better in person, despite the dirt road being visible if you fully raise the blinds. If only I could wake up and have that be the first thing I see every day.
Some nitpicks:
- For the life of me, I could never get the fireplace started after wrestling with it for 20 minutes. Gas may have been off?
- Stocking some coffee in addition to tea would be nice, some of us cityfolk do drink the stuff. ;)
Another thing to bear in mind: No room service, and though there are some food items in the pantry you will want to bring stuff for meals. These aren't negatives, simply trade-offs for the type of peaceful stay you will be having that are MORE than worth it!
Fairly priced for the experience as well!
We spent our 23rd anniversary here, and just loved it. Scenic views, a cozy cabin with everything we needed to have a great time. We could not have asked for a better getaway location.
First cabin we’ve ever stayed in that made me want to cry when we had to leave! Absolutely beautiful views and amazing wildlife. Even had a deer living under the cabin! Highly recommend. ♥️
The cabin was pleasant with stunning views of the area and wildlife. The owner was quick and forthcoming with all the information required to utilize the property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well-stocked rustic yet comfortable hideaway situated in a lush green valley. The views from the huge windows were incredible! We were lulled to sleep each night by the rushing waters of the nearby river and entertained by the humming birds flocking to the birdfeeder outside and by the mama robin nesting on the front porch wreath feeding her babies. We even met the deer who occasionally hangs out under the cabin! What a great place for escaping from the summer heat. We highly recommend it!
We loved our stay and plan to return to this property. The surroundings are beautiful, the cabin is well-appointed and comfortable. We are so glad we booked our stay.
Very accurate and thorough property description. Provided amenities were well thought-out and made the stay more pleasurable. Extraordinary communication from the owner and open communication with owner and property manager should any assistance be needed. A true cozy secluded retreat in a beautiful mountain canyon area.
Oh my gosh, had such a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. It was just what we are looking for. Not too fancy but not too rustic either. Decorated so nicely and really good quality furniture. The bed was comfortable and the living room and kitchen area or so inviting.
The only things I would suggest are to be aware that there is a steep incline you have to go up before you actually get to the steps of the porch. For someone who's a bit older like myself and has bad knees, that was really hard. Luckily my husband was there and I had my cane so between the two I was able to do it but it was a bit scary.
Our favorite part of the entire trip was saying hello to the resident deer that apparently lives under the porch, seeing a moose, laying in bed looking at all the beautiful scenery through through the windows that give you such a beautiful view, and relaxing in the evening on the porch reading or on the very comfortable couch watching TV.
There's some great ATV trails nearby that we loved as well. The hosts were great when we had a question and this was such a relaxing little vacation for us. We're glad we found it!
