Main floor equipped with a full kitchen with microwave, gas stove/oven, refrigerator, coffee pot, and fully stocked w/ pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen tools. Dining room right of kitchen as well as living space with flat screen Tv and fire stick which you can access your favorite shows. Small work desk also located in space.

Lower level hosts an additional living space and a bathroom with tub/shower.
Washer and dryer available.

**Fireplaces are not functional**

Relax on the main wrap around deck that has a lounge space as well as two hanging swings or the lower deck with bar style table overlooking the backyard and stream.

Fire pit and firewood available.
Seating will be added near fire pit before first check-in.

Gas heat for the chilly fall/winter nights and window air conditioning to stay cool on those hot summer days.

This lake house has all the amenities of home with modern and simple decor, sitting at the end of a quiet road, just a stones throw from the lake. Low traffic location perfect for peaceful strolls.

Property is just 20 minutes away from I-81 giving quick access to all nearby attractions such as skiing, casinos, state and local parks, arenas, amusement parks, and concert venues.
Many nearby restaurants, grocery stores, pubs, and convenience marts.

Parking available for up to 4 vehicles.

State boat launch is located around the lake.

Harvey's Lake Gem

Great house, we had a blast in it this week. We grew up in the back mountain and wanted a place close to family and relax. This place worked out perfectly!

Graduation weekend

Great Stay!

We had a lovely (second) stay at this home! It's spacious, very clean and well appointed. Conveniently located at the entrance to the lake and close to restaurants. Check-in process is very easy and hosts are great communicators. Will likely return (again!)

Comfortable, cozy and convenient.

This is a comfortable cottage with convenient access to nearby restaurants and stores…also a reasonable 20 minute drive to Mohegun casino. I wish the weather was warmer so we could have used the wrap-around porch and firepit. We had xpected the property to be a bit more remote but it’s actually on a regular street with next door neighbors. That’s our only reason for the 4 star rating on location. The hosts were excellent with communication and even left a basket with snacks and water upon arrival. Thanks for sharing your home.

Cozy quiet home

We stayed for the weekend to go to a friends wedding nearby and this place was perfect! Lots of space for the 4 of us to relax and get ready for the wedding, and the house was quiet, cozy and clean! We had a nice time staying here. Definitely recommend!!

Beautiful

What a lovely home this was. It was super clean. I was very comfortable and relaxed. I stayed the last day alone just to take it all in. It was quiet. I didn’t even hear cars going by. It was close to the lake and shopping areas. My sons wedding venue was only six minutes away. I’m so happy I found this gem to stay in. I will be coming back. Thank you to the host you guys did an excellent job with the house. Hope to see this again ❤️

Charming and relaxing

Our family had a great time at this charming house. It was a little too hot at night since we didn’t want to run fans or window units (too noisy for me), but otherwise it had everything we needed for our short stay. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch swings in the mornings and roasting marshmallows by the fire-pit at night. Even though the neighbors are all around, the backyard opens up into a meadow and it feels like you are miles away from it all. Kids enjoyed hanging out on the little bridge over the stream running through the backyard and chasing fireflies. Very peaceful and relaxing.

WORKING VACATION

The house is very nice and clean. Has been all redone. Kitchen has everything you need to cook in. They provide all necessary things you need to cook. Salt/Pepper/Oil/Dish Soap etc. Bathroom has shampoo and conditioner plus Kleenex's and hand soap. That was all great. The only thing if you would have mobility issues there is no bathroom on first floor. There is full bathrooms on 2nd and 1st floor. Steps to get to both bathrooms. Air conditioning they only have 1 for 3 bedrooms. It is in the hallway so if it is hot you wouldn't have any air conditioning if you would shut your bedroom doors. Luckily when we were there you could open the windows plus they provide you a fan for each bedroom. Not everyone wants to keep there bedroom doors open at night to be able to get the only air conditioning in the hallway for 3 bedrooms. That wasn't told to us in the review of the house. The porch was very nice. The only thing there is a safety issue on the porch. They have a pointed little bench at the window that sticks out on the porch. That is a tripping hazard so be careful not to trip over it. That wasn't a good idea but I can see why they did it due to more seating. Overall it provided us with what we needed for are stay. The washer and dryer was great to have while we where there. Overall it is a great place to rent. Thank you for a nice stay Brianna.
