The house is amazing!!! Clean, perfect location, plenty of room for family reunion. Plus a Pool!!! Plenty of space in the fenced backyard for relaxing.
comfortable, clean, and very nicely appointed. we enjoyed our stay. perfect location for accessing beach or village. nice floor plan. beautiful pool and private backyard.
Perfect property for a family getaway. House was fun layout, in great condition. Location was perfect. So close to the beach but so close to restaurants and entertainment. Also, communication was great with host! Would, for sure, book this again, hopefully soon!
Great location, convenient to restaurants & shops.
Short walk to beach with beach chairs & towels provided.
House well furnished just as described by owner.
Literally minutes from the beach and Siesta Key Village. There’s even a pool if you aren’t a fan of the sand. The dining room table fit our family of 9 with room to spare. Three on-suites and one common bathroom worked perfectly for our 4 family combo. We had a few minor maintenance issues that were fixed immediately. We’ve rented homes 3 times in Siesta Key so far and this one was our favorite by far.
The house was perfect for beach access and had all the gear for a day of fun in the sun. It was also in walking distance to the village restaurants shops and market. We rented a golf cart to get around with no hassle. The location is superb! They even came to replace the grill so we could enjoy meals in the backyard poolside. Fantastic
We have stayed for a week in Siesta Key during the summer for the past 15 years, and the "Southern Exposure" property was the best experience we ever had so far. I highly recommend it and you cannot beat the location with the beach only 50 yards away and the village (bars, restaurants, shops, etc.) just 100 yards away. The property offers more than enough space for families and the pool with the privacy fence is absolutely wonderful. We will stay there again for sure!
We came to siesta key with family for just a few days, and this spot was perfect! The house is walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Our entire stay we did not have to use the car once. 10/10.
Great location well built home, very quiet, and great pool area.
Great location well built home, very quiet, and great pool area.. Very clean, would only recommend two things for the owners. Get some blinds in the two upstairs bedroom, very bright. And would love some new beach chairs, otherwise, perfect stay, would stay again.
We couldn't have asked for a nicer home. Very close to the beach and The Village. Plenty of room for all of us and the pool and outside area was great. We visit Siesta Key every year and will definitely be booking your beautiful home again. We had a great time! Thanks again
Quiet neighborhood close to the beach. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Great layout with comfortable beds. Large pool in serene backyard. Best smelling towels ever and a ton of them for swimming. Love this place would stay here again. Host was awesome, text me and let me know I had forgotten something. Book this one.
We had a blast at this property. Husband , me and our youngest son with his wife, 2 children (13,8) and our other grandaughter(8). The rooms are wonderful, beach across the street and pool to entertain us all evening! We cooked and enjoyed our time. We found the Siesta Village Cafe up the street …… wonderful!! Thank you!
The house was all we expected, walking distance to beach/town. House was clean roomy and comfortable. Not a huge deal but I like to cook and I was disappointed with the cooking pans. Overall 9/10 experience
We’ll most likely be back next year!!!
We loved our 2 weeks in Siesta Key Village. What a perfect spot, 1 block from the beach and the downtown area - we rarely used our car to go anywhere! The pool area was fantastic, along with the 2 upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. The 2 bathrooms downstairs do need some updating. The downstairs hall bathroom is the pass-through to outside which is a bit inconvenient. The hot/cold was reversed in the one bathroom, and was hard to regulate.
Overall we had a wonderful stay!!
This is definitely nothing fancy, but nice to swim in the private pool and be right by the beach! Lots of room for family and friends to visit and sleep!! We had lots of little kids and were so thankful we were so close to the beach and the restaurants.
This was more like a hotel as far as supplies. Almost zero extra items supplied besides soaps. Seems like the previous guests had to do the same thing as us and had extra garbage bags/coffee filters/dishwasher pods/salt& pepper etc. and it was really unfortunate to know they would throw them out. What a waste!
The pool heater wasn’t working and progressively got colder each day but once we messaged them it was very quick for the pool guy to come fix it!
Excellent Location - But Property Is Rough Around the Edges
PROS
- Location is fabulous. Just steps to the beach and to a variety of shops/restaurants
- Property management is very responsive via text message
- The home itself is spacious, with solid king bedrooms upstairs and a heated pool out back
CONS
- The pool water heater (which was needed due to cool temperatures outside) went out twice. Both times it was fixed within a couple of hours but then you have to wait another couple of hours for the water to heat up
- Construction happening right across the street. The yard right next to the house is essentially a parking lot for construction vehicles
- Downstairs bathroom visibly needs work. Rotting wood near the shower, corroding sliding doors, the water flow out of the sink seems obstructed
- One of the upstairs king bedrooms had no hot water and minimal water pressure. This was fixed by property management within about 24 hours of being notified
- Other little inconveniences - Flat pillows, dated appliances, very worn cookware, lacking extra linens and blankets, smart tv functionality was laggy/slow, property came with a trivial pursuit board game but it was literally from the year 1982
House came as advertised. Clean and well appointed. The home is much larger than I imagined from the pictures provided. The 7 persons in my party had plenty of room to move about or drift off depending upon the level of privacy they desired.
The backyard is fun and functional. The pool is heated (our trip was over New Years) and is just large enough. The grill was clean and operated to expectations.
The home and property are nice, but the location is phenomenal! Short walk to the beach. It took about 100 steps to reach sand. Siesta Key Village (shops & restaurants) are a short walk too. My recommendation for transportation is a nice pair of flip flops. Night life was close enough to reach at a moments notice, but too far to cause noise or other nuisance. Property management was very responsive (even over the holiday).
This property was not perfect. The appliances are high-end but dated. They function, but they have issues. For example, the KitchenAid refrigerator door had to be pushed to shut. The right-side stove burners take too long to heat up. The oven takes longer to heat than it should too. If this was my property, I wouldn't replace them either. There are several other items that need repair:
Downstairs shower leaks leaving a puddle of water on the floor. The water damage on the baseboards suggest this has been a problem for a while. The door from the garage, supply shed and the backyard gate should have the same access code as the entry door. Little things here and there. These minor inconveniences, however, are entirely bearable for a week.
In summary, we had a fantastic trip. It's difficult not to have a great time with so many great options just steps from your front door and waiting for you in the backyard.
