Welcome to The Field House, a wonderful retreat in the heart of midtown Omaha. This remodeled home has architectural details that are a throwback to Circa 1922, mixed with modern amenities that make it a true home away from home.
This is a great location for groups visiting for the College World Series, The Henry Doorly Zoo, Berkshire Hathaway, or concerts at CHI Center. There are many more attractions that are outlined in our welcome guide when you book. Only a short drive to the ball park, CHI Center, the Old Market Downtown, Midtown Crossing and Blackstone District. Lots of fun for both adults and kids.
Before booking we are available through messaging on the platform. After booking we available via phone, text or platform messaging.
Field Club is a neighborhood of homes that was placed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district.
Guests who book have full access to all living areas and amenities including the hot tub, foosball table, fire pit, outdoor grill, and new stainless steel appliances.
Located in historical Field Club, The Field House offers an indoor and private outdoor experience that is tough to beat. There are 5 bedrooms and several living areas indoors to relax and watch TV, play games or play foosball on the table in the lower level. Outdoors, in front, there is a large open porch with plenty of seating and a view with no homes across the street. The large backyard offers privacy with a tall privacy fence and multiple, well placed trees and shrubs. The new cedar deck is a great place to hang out, or relax in the available hot tub. The yard has a large pavered fire pit area with surrounding Adirondack chairs. There is also a nice area to grill out and enjoy the surroundings.

Fun and spacious

Great place, plenty warm for an older building, hot tub was great. A little dusty in spots but the deep couches and plentiful seating were perfectly cozy. Nice location and accessible to a variety of neighborhoods. Would stay here when we return to Omaha again!

Great Stay

This was a great property for our girls family vacation. The neighborhood was a nice quiet area of town and not too far from downtown Omaha. We enjoyed the large backyard with pleanty of space and outdoor games provided. Our family had a great stay.

Work Retreat

This was a perfect place for our small team work retreat. The big table, multiple and flexible work locations, 5 bedrooms and spacious outdoor space was perfect for what we were looking for.

Nice home, good location

This is a nice home in midtown that was a great location for us to attend events associated with Creighton University. The hosts were responsive and the check in process was seamless. My critiques of the house are related to its cleanliness and the need for some minor repairs. Updates related to the furniture and quality of towels would be nice. These concerns were voiced to the host and I was assured that they would be addressed. Overall, we had a great trip and this home served it’s purpose nicely.

Convenient

This fit our family very well. Lots is space inside and out, but the best part was the location. We were close to everything, the zoo, parks, restaurants, mini golf, ice cream, coffee shop. It was fantastic!

Gorgeous house, great stay!

The pictures don't even truly do the home justice - it is spacious, comfortable, and has so much character. Lots of attention to detail. The location was also extremely convenient, close to lots of spots downtown.

Family Getaway

The house was just perfect for our family. I absolutely loved the old style and the character of the home ❤️Our girls especially enjoyed the large backyard and the hot-tub 😊 The location was perfect for the zoo, museum, trampoline park, shopping, and close to our favorite places to eat! We enjoyed our stay so much.

Girls weekend

We had a great time at this location over the weekend! Communication with the owners was very smooth and helpful. The property itself is great! Outdoor fireplace was so cozy and fun to sit around and chat, and the inside was very spacious and comfortable for all to sleep. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely be back again!

Bachelorette Staycation

This house was perfect for my sisters bachelorette party in Omaha! Garrett and Tiffany were amazing hosts and available quickly when questions came up. The Wi-Fi was down the first couple days (didn’t bother us) but Garrett and Tiffany worked so hard to get it back up and communicated with me throughout the process. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my sister!!

The Perfect Stay

We have a family tradition of our two children & families gather for the opening weekend of CWS. The FIELD HOUSE was the perfect house for us. It had a bedroom for everyone, plenty of bathrooms & showers for everyone, the kitchen was beautiful and well equipped and the living room and dining room fit the 10 of us perfectly. The porch and backyard are unbelievable and our 2 little grandkids had a plastic playing both places. If you have a large group this is a must. I must also mention how comfortable the beds were in each bedroom!

Things that were great- bathrooms, cleanliness, a/c and fans. Beds comfortable. lots of space in living room and dining room. Great kitchen, great backyard , lots of shade (need better pictures of it) Quiet area. Things that didn't work- the wifi. Owner tried to help with that. Also, the hot tub was not clean enough that anyone wanted to get it. That was disappointing. Otherwise, great.

Great experience.

Everything about this experience was positive. Very cool house, nicely equipped. Great outdoor leisure spaces. I stayed with friends for the College Baseball World Series finals. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer to take advantage of the amenities.
