i felt sorry for a hotel

this is the first time i actually felt sorry for a hotel. I could have stayed at a nicer place a block away for the same price. The staff was friendly, but there were just too many things wrong with the hotel room. the top bunk of the bunk beds for both rooms were sloping downward, so were basically unusable. There was no hot water kettle nor microwave oven for us to use, and the WIFI is spotty at best. There were only 2 working elevators, and they both showed signs of aging. Our keycards kept getting demagnetized for some reason, so we had to get new cards issued frequently. On a positive note, the sheets and towels were clean and fresh. One of the staff mentioned a renovation coming in March 2025, which it desperately needs. It's in a great location, but other than that, the place needs a lot of TLC.
