Charles was very communicable. The place was exactly as described. Stayed three nights over Christmas and was very secluded, cozy and nice. Would stay again. Dog friendly a big plus. Thanks Charles!
Perfect stay for a short getaway! Everything was clean, plenty of towels and linens provided, kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and cookware. Another great amenity was the usb outlets on the nightstand! I had a great stay and would book again!
The location of this tiny home is perfect for enjoying everything in the area. It was the perfect size for my husband, the dog, and I. Nice to get a real kitchen, washer/dryer, hot tub, and firepit without all of the extra room we didn't need. My only critique is the mattress. It is way too soft. The tiny home is very well done!
I loved this tiny home cabin. It is in a neighborhood right off the interstate and has thick woods in the back yard to make it feel like you are in the woods. Both lots on the sides of this tiny home are empty and wooded. Both houses on both sides are far enough and out of view. The tall ceilings, fireplace, fire pit, and hot tub made my stay feel great. It's location is good because you feel like you are secluded but in less than 3 mins you are on the interstate and can be at the closed town of Murphy in 15 mins

Property was very close to the road, and not very secluded/private for a cabin. Multiple other homes viewable from the porch but very little of the surrounding mountains.
Hot tub did not function, awaiting host refund.

our tiny house stay
we had a good time despite the speedbumps with the property.
The refrigerator had spoiled food in it, the outside garbage bin was full, linins still in the dryer and the hot tub stank, smelled stagnate.
our fix to this was to buy our own bed sheets and trash bags to clean out the fridge. we also had to skim and shock the hot tub before we were comfortable getting in it.
My partner and I enjoyed our 2 night cabin trip! The cabin was clean, cozy and well decorated. Perfect space for 2. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with essentials and more. Fire pit and hot tub added to the ambiance. The only complaint is that, unfortunately, the hot tub was not clean upon arrival, so we were unable to enjoy it the first night. After adding some chlorine, skimming the top with a pail, and letting it sit overnight, we were able to enjoy it clean and hot the next morning. We enjoyed going to Piney Knob Hiking Trail for a 5 mile hike one day (20 min drive away). The cabin is close to a road, so cars pass very closeby which limits privacy somewhat, but didn't bother us much. Would definitely recommend. Pleasant stay.
A cute place but some details that need attention.
The tiny house is cute with the bonus of a hot tub and full size appliances (note there is not a dishwasher). The owner is very responsive and was easy to get in touch with. There is some nice hiking nearby which we enjoyed.
We experienced some issues, however, that negatively impacted our trip. Most notably, the place was not well cleaned before we arrived. There was some old milk and food in the refrigerator and freezer and the shelves in the fridge were dirty. There was also sludgy coffee in the coffee pot and and the only sponge in the place was too old and gross to use. In other rentals, a new sponge was always provided. There were also some socks and vape stuff under the bed and the washer and dryer were both left full. In fairness, these issues can all be remedied by a proper cleaning and we did not alert Charles as it was easier to just deal with it.
The only other problem was a very soft and uncomfortable bed. An investment in a good mattress and linens would make a huge difference in the renter experience.
This tiny house is a wonderful size for a small family or couple. It’s secluded just enough to get away from it all. The hot tub and nice fire pit was a huge plus. The owner was very responsive and gave a great recommendation on things to do. This was our first time in Murphy and we will be back! The Rib Country is a MUST for dinner or lunch!
It was the first time we have stayed in a tiny house. We really loved it. Great layout and wasn't too small. Loved the lights on the outside and hot tub!
