Perfect Stay
We had a perfect stay here as a home base for a Chicago getaway, with day trips to Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana. Sometimes you just need a little space to spread out and this beautiful apartment delivered. We love the architectural interest and charm of spaces that get better with age like this one. This apt. is in a quiet neighborhood, where we felt at home and experienced the warmest hospitality from the hosts. There are many thoughtful touches here, we found everything comfortable and clean, and the communication was excellent. There are dining and grocery options nearby, we found the street parking to be readily available, and the proximity to downtown was great for us. We would love to stay here again during future trips to Chicago!

Originally from the south, but Chicagoans for 20 years now! I love to get outside, work with my hands and hang out with family and friends. Running a short term rental is awesome because I get to meet people from all over. Look forward to meeting you!

Why they chose this property

Our neighbors come from so many wonderful cultures and make up the beautiful quilt that is Hollywood Park. I think it’s that mix, in part, that makes it one of the safest, family friendly neighborhood too. And, we are surrounded by the most amazing urban green spaces with nature trails and bike and walking paths.

What makes this property unique

Ours is a 100+ year old Chicago 3-flat built by Scandinavian carpenters in the Art Deco era. It is a reminder of the history of the neighborhood which was strongly Swedish. The owners before us loved and cared for this building and we are grateful to carry on this legacy.
