About this property
Country Manor at Millers Rock with Pool-1 Hour from NYC
This lovingly curated 3-acre property is the Perfect Getaway for friends, families, office retreat or wedding party! Fill your lungs with the fresh country air of the Appalachians, just an hour away from Manhattan. Warm your smores on the fire-pit around the koi pond or cannon ball into the swimming pool - you will create memories for a lifetime!
Millers Rock is a name that pays homage to the grand rock formations of the Appalachian mountains so don’t be surprised to see a 10ft rock rising out of the ground in the front yard. This charming home is tucked away on a quiet street with only the sound of a gurgling koi pond and the tweet of the Northern Mockingbird to break the silence.
For the chefs out there, delight your group with your culinary prowess on the Viking cooking range with 6 gas burners, 2 ovens and a gridle. Meals are followed by that perfect trick shot on the pool table before cozying up in front of either of the 2 indoor fireplaces to end your wonderful day.
The house is minutes away from Warwick village- restaurants with farm-to-table locally sourced culinary delights, world famous wineries, breweries & apple orchards, hiking & biking trails, camping, glamping, horse-back riding, skiing, fishing, biking, golf and more. Millers Rock has something for everyone.
Social Spaces
Not only do you have a large living room with a 90-inch TV to entertain and to be entertained, but you can adjourn to the parlor for a game of pool or even chess for those more cerebrally inclined. The outsized kitchen is a great place for conversations to flourish while you chow down, with ample seating for 10-12. Maybe you prefer a more formal dining experience around the 12-person dinner table in the dining room.
Outdoor
Did we mention the pool? Open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and tucked away discreetly from the main house to minimize noise, the pool is sure to delight guests of all ages. Perfect your tan on the sun loungers or stay protected in the gazebo. The trees offer a serene, peaceful, and private covering, although the only prying eyes may come from curious and friendly deer observing the human habitat from across the fence.
Close to the house, the patio is arranged with seating for several people. The grill is set up close enough to the kitchen, easy for you to carry plates, dishes and food.
Circle around the house for a change of scene. A unique outdoor feature, complete with fire-pit and koi pond is set up adjacent to the house. Roast smores or tell tall tales, while immersing yourself in the four elements – Fire, Water, Earth and Air.
Living Spaces
Downstairs features a comfortable bedroom with a queen bed, with direct access to the full bathroom. Perfect for those disinclined to stairs or wanting to sneak out quietly for their early morning run.
Upstairs, the palatial master bedroom features a King bed with luxurious bedding, an extra sleeper futon (for the single friend who just dropped in for the night), elegant furniture, and a deluxe bathroom with a bathtub and a standing shower.
The third bedroom (The Pink Room) has two queen size beds which would thrill kids wanting to embark on a sleepover, and adults alike.
The fourth bedroom (The Yellow Room) has a queen size bed with plenty of space and storage.
The sunroom has been meticulously curated with a day bed to relax in, and a trundle in case you want to add another person. Toss the kids in here for movie-night, while the adults enjoy the banter and energy of the downstairs.
