Great house with plenty of space, and very easy access to local beaches. The owner was proactive in sending information and was quick to respond to questions. Excellent rental!!!
The house is great. Very comfortable and very clean. The kitchen has eveything you need. We even found a little trail that leads you down to the Pamet Harbor.. so much fun at low tide! The only reason I have it a 4 , instead of a 5, is that the entertaining space isn't the best. There is a couch and TV on the bottom floor, but the floor closet to the kitchen seems to be wasted. A big couch and TV on that floor would be amazing!
We enjoyed this house in a quiet neighborhood close to Corn Hill Beach, with convenient access to Truro, Wellfleet, Provincetown. It is not luxurious but has everything you need. It lives up to its name; especially the upstairs loft has the feel of being up in the
trees. Lots of stairs, but the almost 4 and 6 children in our group had no problem navigating them. The host recently installed a modern mini-split air conditioning system, which we didn’t need very much, but it is nice to cool the top floor down in the evening.
The Treehouse was exactly as described and we had a great week with our family there. The house had everything we needed, and so much room. Everyone had their own space to do their own thing, but great family rooms for game nights and dance parties. The house is is super close to bay side beaches, and my family spent the whole week on the sand. The owners were very responsive on all inquiries that came up. Looking forward to next year.
The property was comfortable. The kitchen was great, stocked with everything we needed. We loved sitting on the porch which got sun, and shade if you wanted it. The outdoor shower had great water pressure and privacy. The owner was accommodating and available. Because we were there in late May to mid June, the beach was fully accessible, except for the bird nesting spots, without beach passes. Great beach for sunsets.
Owner was very responsive to some unexpected plumbing issues. Resolved rapidly.
Sky lights in the upstairs bedroom were lovely at night.
A few minor fixes with the electrical outlets are needed.
This home is located in the Truro woods within easy driving distance of bay and ocean beaches. Great wi-fi and having both a large dining room and a kitchen table makes this a good place to work from remotely, if that's your plan. Just read the fine print, as opposed to studying the photos: the master bedroom is a loft, as fairly described, which means whomever stays there won't have as much privacy. This won't be an issue if you are traveling with family. Just mentioning in case you are traveling with friends who you don't want to hear or who want to be secreted away in a fully enclosed bedroom. Our family loved the entire house and would stay here again!!! Perfect for work AND play.
Treehouse was a super house to rent. House has great space, nice flow throughout house and deck! Great location to beaches, markets, Ptown........super easy communicating with owner. Was a quiet, peaceful setting with quick access to lots of fun!!

Our family was very happy with the Truro Tree House. It was spacious, clean and in a beautiful spot. Great location close to the beach. Everyone was able to have their own space. Owner was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely like to rent again and would highly recommend to others. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
Quiet, spacious property close to bay and ocean beaches.
Lots of windows and light in the spacious public spaces in this convenient home, surrounded by trees. Well equipped, pretty kitchen with enjoyable deck outside. Very large living./ family room with space for kids on the floor with puzzles, and adult conversational groupings. No air conditioning, but lots of windows with screens--still, a few hot days and nights were challenging. Very responsive and helpful owner. Very good internet connection, but could definitely use more lighting for reading. Easy drive to beaches and other attractions make this a delightful place to call home while vacationing.
Eric was a great host, and the property was as advertised. It was great being so close to Corn Hill beach and the kitchen was big enough for 4 people to prep meals together. The kitchen and grill are on the older side but it was all functional and we had some great meals. We would stay there again.
My family really enjoyed their stay at this property in Truro. It was 4 minutes for Corn Hill beach by car, which was a terrific destination for a swim, to relax, or to watch the sunset. It was also 15 minutes from Ptown, which was also a plus. The property was spacious and had good amenities, though the lack of A/C proved a bit challenging on our hot & humid nights. We enjoyed using the deck and the BBQ and the kids liked the cable TV! All in all, we had a great time staying here.
One of my favorite things about this house was waking up to the view of the forest.
The windows Were wonderful. We loved opening them up and being in the fresh air. We had everything we needed and more. The space was absolutely more spacious than we could’ve imagined! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Spacious home with nice location to Corn Hill Beach
We had a nice week stay with family. Weather wasn’t the best but this house is spacious and had plenty of room for playing games and hanging out. Very close distance to the less busy Corn Hill Beach.
We were here for the month of May, great time without the crowds. A+ location and accommodations. Ton of room, great to spread out. Definitely a treehouse, and plenty of wildlife, the deck got a lot of use. Magical walk to a fantastic beach and on to Pamet Harbor. Got a number of great beach days in May
The house appears light and airy in the photos, but in truth it is a chopped up, disjointed property that feels rather cold and uncomfortable. It is not at all inviting or cozy.
We arrived to find major landscaping of the property under way and had a work team arrive early in the morning on the first weekday of our stay.
I was not thrilled with the rental and had no plans on renting the property again-but was truly soured on the whole experience when I received an email from the homeowner in which he shared his house cleaners communication with him about cleaning the house after our stay. The email was inappropriate and shaming. The property allowed dogs and we have Chow Chows that were unfortunately shedding heavily at the end of the summer. The landowner shared that his cleaner called us the worst guest for leaving food items in the fridge and claimed there were mounds of dog hair as if we never swept during our week stay. The landowner didn't stop there, he went further chastising me for not leaving the house clean like I found it and being so inconsiderate as to leave food in the fridge.
Sorry I failed to empty the fridge of a few food items and that on my vacation I was not concerned with cleaning a rental property-simply don't believe that is a renter's responsibility.
We loved this home from the moment we walked through the front door, and loved it more and more the longer we stayed. The location in the woods is quiet and peaceful. We loved the back deck and outdoor shower and spent a lot of time outdoors. The lay-out over 5 floors gave us plenty of room to spread out and each have our own space. The kitchen was well-stocked, which made cooking at home easy. And the owner was very good with communication, proactive, and fair on all matters. It was a joy to stay here. We will try our best to make it back soon. I highly recommend to all.
This wonderful house and location made for a perfect getaway to the Cape. The house was in a wooded area but close to the bay and ocean beaches. The house is a unique - five levels and an open roomy design. This is the place to be if you want to be at the upper Cape. Eric, Thank you for the memories.
Lovely home, with very open feeling to interior.
Very clean and well kept up. The owner Eric was very responsive to a minor problem we had. Quiet street, with nice privacy. I've rented a number of houses in Truro over the past 20 years, and this was the best.
Beautiful setting, very spacious home with large kitchen and living room although we spent most of our time on the deck! Walk to beach was fine for adults but need to drive young children with all the beach toys, tents, coolers etc. Truro is probably the best town on cape for beach pass because of use of both bay & ocean beaches! Eric the owner was great, he even shipped a couple new fans to us because of the heat wave. We’re definitely going back. Corn Hill beach is great for kids, like the fact that low tide doesn’t get that low and you don’t have to walk a half a mile to get to the water. Great for kayaking! Also Head of the Meadow on the ocean side is beautiful, one of my all-time favorite beaches and Ballston Beach is pretty cool especially at night. Short drive to P-Town for great food and beverages.
Nice home close to everything but yet great to get back to after a busy day of outings or visits to the many beaches close by.
