LIVING AREA

Group fun awaits in the game room, which includes both a billiards and ping-pong table. An impressive 65in 4K TV with a curved screen promises immersive movie screenings.

KITCHEN & DINING

Home chefs will love the modern kitchen, appointed with granite countertops. High-end stainless steel appliances include a six-burner gas range with double ovens.

Sip coffee at the two-seat kitchen bar, and share beach-inspired meals around the table for eight in the dining area.

BED & BATH

This home sleeps 10 guests in four bedrooms.

A stately king bed awaits in the tranquil master suite. A desk with a monitor creates a private office area. The en-suite boasts a double vanity, a deep soaking tub, and a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom features a queen bed and a flat-screen TV. The second bath has a walk-in shower.

The third bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, while the fourth bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite with a walk-in shower.

Two twin-over-twin bunk beds are available for young children and offer additional sleep space in the kids playroom

The fourth bath has a walk-in shower, and a half bath provides additional convenience.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Tall fences, lush vegetation, and a sparkling hot tub create a private oasis in the backyard. Sunbathe on the private back deck. An outdoor shower is handy after fun-filled beach days.

Furnished with a plush seating area, the first balcony is an inviting perch above your peaceful neighborhood. Prepare tasty meals on a gas grill on the second balcony.

Complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and driveway parking for two cars are provided.

Extras include beach gear: body boards, beach toys, beach chairs, and a wagon.

This home is accessed via five stairs at the entryway. The property does not have air-conditioning. This rental strictly prohibits parties.

Parking is available for up to 3 cars in the driveway, and 1 car in the garage. Please do not attempt to park on the street, vehicles limited to driveway and garage.

THE LOCATION

Located 1.5 blocks from the beach, you can walk to the sand and waves in 4 minutes! Surf enthusiasts are within easy walking distance to Pleasure Point, Jack's or The Hook.

Stroll 10 minutes for amazing views at Cliff Beach. Walk 6 minutes to Portola Drive and discover cafes including Cat and Cloud Coffee and Verve Coffee Roasters as well as sweet treats at The Penny Ice Creamery.

Travel 4 miles to central Santa Cruz to explore the Museum of Natural History, play at the boardwalk amusement park, or snap photos on the wharf.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Pleasure Point Retreat Delivers Yet Again

Our third time in this excellent vacation rental did not disappoint. The gourmet kitchen is well supplied, including a blender and Kitchenaid mixer. We especially appreciated all the ziplock bags, plastic wrap, etc. Loved the hot tub, the large--and numerous--bathrooms, game room with ping pong and pool tables, the plentiful beach chairs and toys, and the overall cleanliness of the house. This home is perfect for our multi-generational family (ages 11 months to 78 years). We will return.

Lovely Holiday House

Our extended family of 9 had a great stay here over Thanksgiving week. The kitchen was well outfitted for all our holiday meal preparations and there was lots of room for everyone to spread and get comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Summer Family reunion

This house accommodated our family from infants to grandparents. The kitchen was great for preparing big meals and the dining accommodated all of us. The family room with ping pong and pool was a great gathering place. We loved the hot tub, decks and the proximity to the beach, eateries and shopping were great. Nice quiet neighborhood. This was our second year here and we will be back next summer for sure.

Great house!

Loved the house. There were 9 adults and plenty of room. Just 2 blocks to the beach. My son took advantage of the surf board(s) at the house and went surfing a couple of days. Very quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Didn't use the hot tub but it was cleaned while we were there. Would rent it again without any hesitation.

Family beach vacation

The house was perfect for our extended family. This was the first time we have gathered together in one house and we were very happy with the number of rooms and bathrooms. The living space was very accommodating and the kitchen was large and well equipped for the meals we were making. We loved the ping pong and pool tables and the hot tub/back yard was a great asset. The back yard was nicer in person than the photos online. Plenty of parking and great access to the walk along east cliff as well as restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood. More towels and bath mats would have been great. We had a little bit of trouble getting into the house at first but it all got straightened out. We hope to return next summer!

New Years Stay for 10

The house was awesome. Great kitchen - lots of space. Beautiful bedrooms - bunk room is amazing. Pool/PingPong tables were much appreciated with all the rain we had. Just a couple things worth mentioning: this house is 1 1/2 blocks from Pleasure Point which is amazing surf spot - but it is not really walkable to a beach. Closest beach is very short 4 minute drive. Also, this house is in the middle of a residential neighborhood, so there are lots of rules regarding noise and parking. We needed to double park one vehicle for a few minutes, and a neighbor asked us to move our car, as they said it blocked access to street parking for them. It was OK for us - but worth noting.

Terrific location and property... but beware

This is a very well appointed home in a terrific location blocks from the ocean with a nice layout for a family gathering. Regrettably there were several items that were not working during our stay (TV and entertainment systems and a persistent hammering plumbing noise when running water and flushing toilets). We later learned that the property recently had some repairs and renovations and we were the first guests following the work. When we contacted the host the first line response was excellent and we were assured someone familiar with the home would contact us. By the time we finally heard from someone we had already attempted all of the recommended fixes ourselves and there was little that could be done before our departure the following day. The office staff was apologetic and offered compensation which seemed like a reasonable solution although we would have preferred that the items had been working. Had the management company followed through this would be a 4.5 star review but the follow-up call that was promised has never come and our multiple follow up efforts have been ignored.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Wow! What a home! Really enjoyed our stay here! The location was absolutely perfect. Just a short walk to pleasure point to watch the surf and just down the street from Cat&Cloud Coffee! Great children’s book for the littles and a beautiful porch to soak in the sun! The game room was a huge plus as well! I can go on and on! Definitely a repeat spot!

Beautiful House in Great Neighborhood

Beautiful house, in a great area, only a few minutes walk to the beach, However, for $1000 per night, a few finishing touches are in order. First of all, only a very samll roll of toilet paper was in each bathroom (we had to buy TP), two dish towels are not enought for a kitchen to cook for 8, no non stick pans, no coffee grinder, only two beach towels....... just little things like that. Otherwise a great place, but expensive.

My stay

My family and I are from Morgan hill ca . We decided to do a last minute trip for our kids, when we arrived the home is amazing from the outside and inside, very clean! All these amazing rooms to stay in! Kitchen very nice bar and game room amazing! By far the best clean home that we have stayed in! Best part boardwalk is a few minutes away from home and many restaurants and breweries around the home area. Now for the bad things, the jacuzzi was nasty not clean a lot of foreign material in the water. Jacuzzi was not cleaned for a while like the description says . Back yard not clean grass not cut or maintained well!! My kids were looking forward to having a jacuzzi for the weekend specially after all day fun at the boardwalk. When I called Vacasa they said they were sending someone out! Never did!! In the description of the home no details of what the kitchen has as far as cup ,plates . Was stalked very well for our needs. Outdoor bbq pit was perfect for us. From balcony with chairs not clean at all covered in spiders and webs, … besides a few things that need attention we would stay here again but I would request a guarantee that the jacuzzi is clean!!

A Home Away from Home

We stayed at this terrific house for four nights. We are a multigenerational family - grandparents, adult couples, and a toddler and an infant. This house is: #1 impressively clean and well appointed; #2 spacious for all people. #3 The kitchen was fantastic and again, well appointed with so many necessary cooking utensils. Everyone had their own bathroom. The layout gave plenty of space to be together and to be separate. We used the hot tub nightly, and even in the day at bit. And we had a blast playing pool and ping pong in the basement. It's also just 1 1/2 blocks from the ocean . We could walk to beaches as well as to a wonderful wooden path just a few blocks to the north. The Boardwalk is a quick drive. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is an easy 40 minute drive away. I 'm sure we'll return to this house again.

Fantastic place!

We stayed here for three days for a low key wine tasting and beach vacation and it was amazing. Great location, close to the beach with some great amenities. It was very comfortable and perfect for our trip.

Great family home!

We had a wonderful time enjoying the spacious home and all of the amenities! The location was perfect for the surfers in the family and we also enjoyed walking to the cute shops in the area. The home was very clean and comfortable. :-)

Relaxing Family Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I take a yearly trip together and this is our 2nd time staying at this rental. It is a great house with tons of room for the 9 of us, comfortable beds, great amenities and close to the beach. We love the hot tub, ping pong table and pool table- it is fun for the whole family! The kitchen is large and is well stocked. The only issue we had was we could not get the TV to work for the football game. Plus, the check out time of 10 is very early for the teenagers in the family. Overall it is an amazing property in a fabulous location. Looking forward to renting this house again!

Magical Thanksgiving Vacation

We spent a week at this wonderful house with our family (8 adults and 2 young grandsons). We all loved the house and the area! The house was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone. The house is walking distance to the ocean with a nice walking/running path. We enjoyed the many different beaches along the ocean. We had plenty of beach chairs and toys for the kids, including a wagon to haul our things to the beach. We could also walk to coffee shops, restaurants and surf shops! We’ve rented many houses for our family vacations over the years and everyone agreed this was definitely our favorite!! Turnkey Reservations was also very responsive to our text messages before and during our stay. It helped to make the total experience a magical one!!
