128 Everline Gross!

The only good thing about this room was its location. Everything else was not great and in my opinion not acceptable. I wish I could post pictures on this review, but I don’t see where I can post. The dresser had broken drawers, missing handles and not usable at all, in fact semi-dangerous bc the drawers fall out when pulling. There were 3 broken light bulbs in the already dark bathroom. There was hair in the shower upon arrival and an half used shampoo bottle. There was also hair found when going to sleep in the bed sheets. The phone was covered in dust and grime and the caulking that connects the bathroom counter to the wall was so separated and gross looking. The entire unit needed a fresh coat of paint and new furniture. The furniture was old, dingy and didn’t look clean. Overall, the place could have been amazing, BUT it is clearly not taken care of by the owners. I would not recommend this unit based on the condition and the price per night. Again, wish I could post pictures to clearly show my concerns, then others could decide if the unit was acceptable for them. I did contact vacasa twice, once by email with pictures and again on a chat. The email was never answered and the chat was no help at all. I would not use vacasa to book another vacation based on my experience.

Breathtaking view and excellent amenities

Loved the room layout, the view and all the resort amenities. The kitchen equipment was basic, so probably not suitable for preparing elaborate meals. The bed was very comfortable.

As described

Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed the resort and surroundings. Further attention should be paid to ensuring enough towels, toilet paper and tissue are provided for 4 people for a 4 night stay. The check-in process should be reevaluated and changed. Staff had difficulty checking us into the unit because it was booked through a third-party. The furniture was rather uncomfortable and some of the linens need to be replaced (extra blankets were old). All that considered, we would book again and enjoyed ourselves.

Ski trip

Excellent location for a ski trip. Be prepared to pay extra for a higher than normal resort fee and no free parking. Both of these costs can add up quickly. The resort is nice but it’s also very busy. Although the room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

Hard to recommend

Really cool location and unit. Can walk out right to resort chair. Upon arrival the previous rentals dirty linens and towels were piled up in the center of the unit. Called the property manager to open a request but did nothing. We begged the resort for blankets and linens. But still had the dirty previous set in the unit, kind of gross. The heater also makes a very loud clapping noise when on. We complained about this too and no response. Someone did show up to try and repair a toilet paper dispenser that wasnt broken. A lot of confusion with the property management company and cleaning crew. Spoke with vacasa several times where they advised us of solutions that were not followed up on. We actually ended up spending a night someplace else because we were so cold without blankets and trying not to run the heater because it was banging so loud. We did manage to have fun, but this wasnt a great lodging experience.

Great Location

Fantastic location, particularly for skiers. Nicely furnished unit, comfortable bed, dual vanity bathroom. The closets were cluttered/unkempt, but that was only a minor inconvenience.

Fantastic Family Get Away

This was a really fantastic home for our trip. The space was perfect for our family. We loved the kitchenette with larger fridge, pool/waterslide was amazing and being able to walk right out our door down to the lawn and putting area was super memorable. Absolutely great time and can't wait to go back.

Bargain but not great

I was expecting more from the unit, and also Squaw Creek in general. It’s definitely family friendly, so expect LOTS of kids at the pool. People are nice, tons of activities if you are trying to entertain the kiddos. The condo itself was pretty dirty. They made the bed, and it was super comfy, but the carpet seemed vaguely vacuumed at best (pretty gross, I even found someone’s old finger/toe nail in a corner); spray sunscreen all over the bathroom cabinets, red mildew on shower grout, an old, dead floral arrangement left out in the patio, a tootsie roll wrapper left under the sofa bed, etc. We were sent a text asking about the cleanliness and I responded with all these issues. They came out and did their best to fix them, so I appreciate that. Definitely not a 4 -star experience however. My recommendation would be to stay elsewhere, but we were in a time crunch. Would have been nice to be offered some kind of compensation (even like a Starbucks gift card for $10?) but truly great customer service is super rare these days…(sigh).
