We warmly welcome you to the beautiful Marsberger Diemeltal.
The Diemel flows through the gateway to the Sauerland, past green meadows, forests, mountains and the holiday apartment Diemeltal.
From an eventful and beautiful trip z. B. on the Diemelradweg, it is an excellent place to relax to embark on new adventures.

The apartment
The 60 sqm, newly completed and furnished apartment in 2017 invites you to linger. The spacious living and dining room is flooded with light and modern thanks to the adjacent terrace.
The rainforest shower invigorates body and mind after a hard day. In addition, the apartment has a fully equipped, modern fitted kitchen.
In addition to the double bedroom, another 2 people can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. A cot can be placed if necessary.

Marsberg in the Sauerland
In the northeastern part of the Sauerland, the city of Marsberg lies at the foot of the historic Eresburg in the Diemel valley. The 20,000 inhabitants are spread over 17 districts, which border on the district border with Paderborn, the state border with Waldeck (Hessen) and the city of Brilon. Thus, the city of Marsberg forms the east for many visitors. Gateway to the Sauerland, which has wonderful excursion destinations in summer as well as in winter.

activities
Marsberg is the ideal starting point for exciting tours, especially for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. The Eggeweg starts north here and leads in several stages to the destination 70km away, the Externstein in Lipperland. Two variants of the Sauerland forest route start in the opposite direction, which end after demanding stages through the Hochsauerland district in Iserlohn.
Cyclists also get their money's worth here. The adjacent Bike Arena Sauerland has numerous tours for mountain bikers, and the Diemel bike path runs along the river from Usseln to Bad Karlshafen. The apartment is located on the bike path.

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben mit unserem Vierbeiner alles vorgefunden, was unseren Aufenthalt angenehm machte. In ca 80m Entfernung verläuft ein neu angelegter Geh- und Radweg entlang der Diemel, welcher einen entspannten Spaziergang ermöglicht. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen!

Wir wurden sehr nett von Herrn und Frau Gockeln empfangen. In dieser Wohnung fehlt es an nichts. Und falls doch mal etwas nicht passt, bin ich sicher, dass schnell eine Lösung gefunden wird. Die Lage des Hauses in der Nähe der Diemel hat insbesondere unserem Dackel gut gefallen. Man je nach Kondition bis zum Diemelsee laufen oder wandern - problemlos erreicht man aber Marsberg. Das Lokal Zum Bleichhaus und die Paulinenquelle sind unbedingt zu empfehlen.

One of the best apartments we ever booked
This is a marvelous apartment! It is spacious, very clean, comfortable, modern and very well equipped. The living room has a large sofa and a 6 persons dining table. It has nice modern furniture, a large flat-sceen TV and double door that open to the patio and garden (unfortunately too cold outside for us to use in February) The bedroom has a comfortable bed, good size closet and wallpaper matching the bed covers. The kitchen has a small breakfast table, is well stocked with kitchen utensils. The only thing missing is a dishwasher. The bad has a marvelous walk-in shower with plenty of warm water. The apartment was spotless clean. There is a small garden and even a private parking space. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. All in all, a place that we can highly recommend and will definitely consider going back to.

Bei dieser Ferienwohnung kann man nur 5 Sterne geben, oder auch mehr :-). Tolle und saubere Unterkunft, wir waren als Paar mit unserem Hund dort und werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Auch die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Vielen Dank nochmal für den schönen Kurzurlaub.

Wohnung + Lage sehr zu empfehlen.
Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und alles da was man braucht. Allerdings sehr hellhörig. Die Lage ist top. Check in/out hat wunderbar geklappt. Auch die Kommunikation war sehr schnell und einfach. Wir waren soweit super zufrieden. Allerdings muss man sich als Hundebesitzer im Vorfeld im Klaren sein, das man völlig überzogene Reinigungsgebühren zahlen muss. Für 3Nächte mit 2Hunden werden fast das dreifache an Reinigungsgebühren verlangt, was mehr als übertrieben ist. Haben wir so noch nirgends erlebt.

Heerlijke drie weken in Marsberg
Mijn vrouw (in rolstoel) en ik hebben genoten van drie heerlijke weken in Marsberg in de Ferienwohnung Diemental bij de familie Gockeln. De woning is drempelvrij en de deuren zijn breed genoeg voor een rolstoel. De tuin is via de voordeur met de rolstoel te bereiken. Er zijn verder geen aanpassingen in de woning aangebracht. In ons geval leverde dat geen problemen op en konden we samen goed uit de voeten. De inrichting is smaakvol en zeer uitgebreid. Wij vonden het geweldig! Mede dankzij de vriendelijkheid en dienstbaarheid van mevrouw en meneer Gockeln. De omgeving is zeer geschikt voor het maken van wandelingen, met mijn vrouw in haar scootmobiel. Glooiend, maar niet al te steil. En goed begaanbaar.

Eine sehr schöne, modern eingerichtete, saubere Wohnung. Der Empfang der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und wir erhielten viele hilfreiche Tipps. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, da kein 50 m vom Diemelradweg entfernt. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. "Nur" 4 Sterne für die Genauigkeit des Online-Inserats da die Wohnung eigentlich noch schöner war als online erkennbar.
