This was the perfect home base for our Sedona vacation. A central location for visiting landmarks throughout the area, comfortable, clean and convenient to dining and groceries made it a great choice. The split bedrooms each with their own attached bathrooms made it extra comfortable for two couples. Add a beautiful view of the area’s iconic red rocks and you won’t be disappointed! The owners were great to work with and made us feel at home. Would stay again if our travels bring us back.
The property was clean, convenient, and more than adequate, and the owners were very responsive. We left with mostly minor complaints.
We read reviews stating it was hard to find, especially in the dark. The building this unit is in is about half-way around the complex (the farthest away from either entry point). Once you find the building, the unit is easy to find.
The condo was very clean. The bathrooms were sparkling. Plenty of towels for everyone, but nowhere to hang the hand towel by the sink. One hotel soap in each bathroom, so not enough for a 3-4 day weekend. Bring your own conditioner.
At least one other reviewer commented on problems with the shower in one bathroom and we had the same experience. The temperature fluctuated from scalding to cold so much our friends wouldn't even use that shower. We ended up sharing one shower among four of us for the weekend.
Our other issue with the condo is the kitchen cookware. The kitchen was stocked with only small pans and shallow pots with no lids and the only oven-safe cookware was a couple of cookie sheets. We had to buy some tinfoil oven pans to make one of our planned meals. If you plan to eat out or cook simple meals, this may not be an issue for you.
If the shower gets repaired, I would definitely stay there again.
We stayed for 4 nights and would definitely return. The condo was clean, well appointed, and the split bedroom layout was ideal for our family of 3 that includes a teenager.
The location is great, right outside of the Sedona proper in Oak Creek Village. The drive into Sedona is a quick, easy drive on a scenic highway offering amazing views of the Red Rocks. The condo itself is within walking distance to groceries, coffee, and restaurants. Bell Rock, Chapel of the Holy Cross, as well as many other Sedona hikes and sites were within a 10 minute drive.
The owners communication from pre-booking - through arrival was top notch. Overall great experience!
This is a newly updated condo in the Village of Cave Creek, 20 minutes from Sedona. It was relatively quiet because it was out of the city center of Sedona. There is a great pool area. It is within walking distance to some great restaurants. There is also a grocery store within walking distance. Inspecting the condo, the refrigerator has an ice maker, which was terrific. The bathroom had no toilet paper. One bedroom has a ceiling fan; the other has a tabletop fan. There is one TV in the condo and none in the bedrooms. The air conditioning can’t be set lower than 70 degrees, so if you sleep hot, this may be an issue for you as it was for me. One bathroom has plumbing issues. What is marked as cold is hot, and what is marked as hot is cold. This shower had drastically varying water temperatures as I showered. If any other water in the condo was used, it could be cold one second and scalding hot the next. I hope the owners will consult a plumber to correct this issue. The bathrobes provided were a lovely touch. We really enjoyed the peaceful mornings on the balcony, watching the changing colors of the red rocks through the large mature trees as the sun rose. Walking to the nearby restaurants for dinner was also a real treat. I loved the peacefulness of the condo and the area. It was a great stay in a cozy, peaceful condo. Thank you for allowing us to use your property for our getaway from work, life, and all the kids.
Great central location. Could walk to breakfast places & shops/market. Nice comfortable LR/DR. Large balcony had lovely view of some red rocks. Very close to several walking trails & great central location to numerous day trips & activities. Loved the community hot tub after horseback riding & the large towels & robes owners supplied! Would definitely stay again.
We had a great stay in Sedona. The condo was perfect for us! Beds were comfortable, amenities were just what we needed. We hoped to make it to the pool but noticed it was lovely and well used. Condo is easy access to many places. Had a grocery store and breakfast place just across the street. Kitchen was well-stocked and we appreciated the extra blankets to use instead of down comforters. The area is beautiful and I loved waking up to the mountain view out my window. Would definitely stay there again.
Location wasn’t in Sedona proper but the Village of Oak Creek— just outside of Sedona. We loved the proximity, walk ability and slower pace. Property Manager, Jim, was very accommodating and easy to work with.
We found the location of this property excellent-it was close to many hiking trails we were going on and restaurants that we had reserved. It was very quiet and very clean. We arrived in the evening and did find it hard to know what building we were looking for. There were no lights next to the letters of each condo-that would have been very helpful!
Perfect for a long weekend in Sedona. Clean, roomy and very conveniently located near many of the best hiking trails in the area. The complex was easy to find, but we did find it a bit difficult to locate the specific building when we first arrived because the letter on that building was not as easy to see. The bedroom closets were not accessible, but that was a minor inconvenience and would not prevent me from staying there in the future.
We had a great stay at Oak Creek. The place was beautiful and the host was very responsive. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. It was great that the grocery store was right across the street and there were some great places to eat in the area. It was nice that it was away from the hustle and bustle of central Sedona. It was very peaceful.
great location to many trails and shopping and grocery store, and we enjoyed the pool daily!. very comfortable unit with nice furnishings, everything you need in the kitchen. nice welcome basket and loved the extra trail maps and area suggestions. it is on the second level up stairs no elevator so plan accordingly if any luggage is heavy! the on site management if pretty unresponsive but the vrbo owners are very helpful!
