Beautiful place! Comfy and quaint. All was perfect except some light bulbs out in wall sconces and chandelier. We tried to play Fleetwood Mac on the record player but it didn’t work properly. I’d suggest the housekeeper bring in the seat cushions on the outdoor chairs. The outdoor patio area was lovely, but the chair cushions were soiled and littered with debris from the overhanging tree branches. Overall wonderful stay. Look forward to our return visits.
Stayed one night as we were passing through Apalachicola. The garden suite was lovely, just as pictured and described. Very close to walk to main street for dining and shopping.
My wife and I had a lovely stay at the garden suite we found the accommodation to be wonderful. The host very accommodating, and the atmosphere very relaxing.
If you’ve seen the movie, “Somewhere in Time”, the Historic Garden Suite literally allows one to travel back in time and experience, the relaxing, beauty of the late 1800’s, but not have to give up modern amenities. Located in the Historical residential district of beautiful and quaint Apalachicola Florida with it’s Gulf breezes, how could it get any better.
Definitely recommend this super-nice suite attached to an historic home.
The bedroom is large and beautifully appointed. There's not kitched but there is a microwave and small refrigerator and a bunch of complimentary items.
The bathroom looks great, though the small-ish tub isn't set up well to use as a shower.
The host provided some good recommendations for the area, including a newer bar with live music (Apalachicola Yacht Club) that didn't show up on any maps or searches I did for Apalachicola.
The place is about 3 blocks from the little downtown area. Everything is within a short walk as Apalachicola is not very big :)
This is certainly my favorite place to stay in Apalachacola if not any other VRBO location. So adorable, comfortable and the charm is hands down the best. Thank you.
This place is absolutely wonderful. The hosts were extremely accommodating with our last-minute request for accommodations. The location is convenient to walking into town. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. I will definitely be staying here again.
Just love The Chapman House. Second time staying here, so far my favorite room. Hosts are very attentive. Location Location Location. Walk across the street to Trinity Episcopal Church. History buffs can enjoy the nearby Cemetary. Lovely stay!
