Welcome to "The Bunker," an old-fashioned name for the menhaden fish found in the Chesapeake Bay. Our 4-bedroom home is close to the water (Dividing Creek). Modern and spacious, this is the perfect spot for family getaways or quiet weekends for adults. Bring kayaks, paddle boards, fishing rods or floats - we are located in a no-wake area. We're also just a 10 minute drive from Kilmarnock with grocery stores, fun restaurants, and quaint shops!

So peaceful and comfortable!

Lovely property located north of Kilmarnock. The home is well appointed. Quiet location on the creek. The host family is responsive and very pleasant. Wonderful outdoor space for grilling, eating crabs. We hope to stay here again’

Paradise is closer than we thought

Can't wait to return. The home and property are straight out of a Better Homes and Gardens magazine. We spent most of our time outside on the screened porch, which was also decorated beautifully. All 6 of us had plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the outdoor colors of autumn in a very private back yard on the water. Perfect for star gazing! We loved the town and ate and shopped at all of the locally owned business. Tri Star market had more variety than most big stores. Everything you will need. Thanks again for hosting us. Paradise is indeed closer than we thought.
