Our small home is off the beaten path and offers the best of both worlds. A safe country getaway on a quiet, secluded dead end road with only you and the landlord (us) that lives a block away. The interior has been completely renovated throughout and is furnished with top-of-the-line seating for the living room, a 42" flat screen TV with Roku for all your streaming needs. Home solely uses Fiberoptics Wifi with incredible speeds. Also, a table for two, that can be converted into a workstation. The bedroom is loaded with storage, a full closet, headboard cubbies and under the bed drawers. The bed has a queen size "Ultimate Purple Mattress". All the windows in the house are equipped with cordless Roman shades. The house sits on the owner's 5 acres bordered by a creek which provides a nature sanctuary to many species of birds, deer, fox, coyotes and etc. There is a storage building with a grill inside for the tenants use. The building can also be used for bicycle. golf club storage or whatever else you want protected with your own lock. After a hard day's work, come home and relax on the deck watching the sunset or sitting by the firepit watching the stars while listening to the crackle of the wood supplied by the landlord.
Located only 2 1/2 miles away, is the Historic downtown of Excelsior Springs; known back in the day for its healing waters. Downtown offers unique shops, restaurants, breweries and wine tasting rooms from the surrounding vineyards.
The house is minutes away from the main hospitals, Colleges, stadiums, state parks and amusement parks.
A 30-day minimum stay means no lodging tax included in your total price. That's a savings of 5% and up!

Peaceful Stay

This charming little home is the perfect area to come back to after a long day at work to clear your mind. The owners are amazing and always there to help whenever needed! I was there for a little over a month and got a discount for the extended stay. It has everything you need to make yourself comfortable.

Quiet place in the country.

Wonderful owner who takes care of everything. Fast fiber internet. Just 15 minutes to Liberty Mo and 5 minutes to Excelsior Springs MO. Stayed for 10 weeks and loved every minute.

Country Heaven

This was not a vacation, more of a necessity! The property owner went out of her way to help me with scheduling and amenities. The house was beautiful and the remote location was unbeatable. Everything was as advertised and then some. Unfortunately the last few days saw 5-6 inches of snow, the owner made sure everything was taken care of from making sure the drive was passible to providing me with everything I needed at the house. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you!!

Amazing quiet place to stay while traveling!

The property pictures show exactly what you are walking into. The house is big enough just to make it feel homey. It is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The landlords were great about responding to any issues that came up. Unfortunately the only downfall is that internet connectivity is an issue. Service was slower than I would have liked it. Otherwise my stay there was great. There lots of great restaurants nearby and many things to do to occupy your time.

The landlords are the homeowners 1 block away. We bought our 1901 Farmhouse 8 years ago and loved the seclusion. Our intentions are to live off the land. We both were raised in small towns then moved to Kansas City but did not like the city life. When we feel we need to explore KC, it is still less than 20 minutes away. We both work from home since COVID which gives us an opportunity to focus on this new adventure as landlords. My husband and I are easy going and down to earth. Both of us will go out of our way to help those in need.

Why they chose this property

Both properties are on a dead end road. We have always wanted to own this property to complete our acreage that is adjacent to ours. The house was renovated and furnished with high end and multipurpose fixtures to work with the small interior of 612 sq feet.
The deck, gazebo and patio add another 350 sq ft of seasonal living space. A locked storage building is also available for the tenant's use. We cherish our privacy and lack of traffic. Besides us, the mailwoman and Amazon are the only ones that frequent our stretch of road. :)
