Relaxing Get Away

My husband and I had a wonderful time away. The house was clean and beautiful. I love waking up every morning drinking my coffee, watching the birds and wildlife. We loved the sofa in the living room! I would highly recommend staying here. Don was a great host and answered any questions I had . Would stay again

Great vacation

Don was beyond helpful with all of my questions and the house was very nice and clean. The location was perfect for us. We watched several great egrets and other birds nest in the evening behind the house and fly away every morning. We also rode our bikes every day. If we return to the area we will stay here again!

Long Weekend Getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway and I have to say that it was the perfect place. The home was clean and quiet and contained everything that we needed for our weekend. Donny, the owner, was very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend.

Great Loction

The property is located in a small neighborhood inside Wild Dune community, and backs up to a small pond on the golf course. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and the property is clean and comfortable. We had no issues with either the property or the location, and would recommend to our friends and family.

Perfect Family Friendly Vacation Spot!

This is our fifth time vacationing in the Wild Dunes area as a family. We have outgrown staying at the resort, as our children are getting older and we just need more space. This property was absolutely perfect for our family! The house is spacious and well-maintained. The location couldn’t be more perfect, a quick walk to the beach and the resort restaurants and shops. We loved watching the the birds, turtles, and alligators from the back deck. The large televisions, newly renovated bathrooms, washer/dryer, and working kitchen were all additional benefits of staying here. Don was responsive to all of our questions and provided all the information we needed to have an enjoyable and relaxing stay! We recommend this rental to families coming down to the Wild Dunes/Isle of Palms area. We cannot wait to come back again!

Great house!

Our son had a baseball tournament at Shipyard and we decided to make a vacation out of it. This house was perfect and met all our needs and more! We enjoyed all the wildlife in the backyard. We brought our bikes and had a great time riding all over the resort. The beach is a short ride/walk away which was nice. We will definitely stay here again!

Weekend Overflow

Amazing House in a Perfect Location!

We stayed at Donny's place with a group of 6 adults for 4 nights. We chose Wild Dunes for the golf course and proximity to the beach. This VRBO did not disappoint! The location was perfect to be able to walk to the beach, restaurants in Wild Dunes and the Harbor course. There is also a shopping center less than 10 minutes away with everything you could possibly need. The house itself seemed to be recently renovated and was absolutely perfect for 3 couples. Our group kept commenting on how great the layout was and comfortable the couch was. From start to finish, Donny was a great host. Since it had been years since we had visited Isle of Palms / Wild Dunes, I had several questions before and during our stay. Donny was always quick to respond and extremely accommodating. Can't recommend this VRBO and IOP enough! Our group is already talking about booking our next trip to Donny's place.

IOP Rental- Good for Family

Donny was very helpful in giving us information prior to our arrival and nice to work with. The house was very spacious, had great light and a good working kitchen. Both the kitchen and the bathrooms were up to date. The location was very good. It was a perfect place for our family.

Great find!

We had a wonderful time at Isle of Palms. Great walking trails and wildlife. The property is conveniently located to beach and Sweetgrass Inn. Recently remodeled. Lots of towels. We had a great time!!

Good Last Minute Option

After our original rental cancelled on us two days before our arrival, we were able to book with Don. While everything was fine, I could tell the home was aging. The oven needed an overnight scrub and the pans, etc weren't in the best shape. The TV was also frustrating as it rained a couple of our days so we had nothing else to do. Overall, nice family vacation in a nice house but I'm just used to more upscale things like softer sheets, newer couches and white towels.

Better Than Anticipated

Wow! We had a terrific week in Isle of Palms. Our son played in a baseball tournament at the Shipyard. We booked this rental as an alternative to staying in a hotel with the team. It’s a spacious home with big TVs, comfy beds and plenty of furniture for the family to enjoy. There is a gourmet kitchen with plenty of accessories that was not pictured. The showers and bathroom area were very clean. We were a short walk from the resort area and private beach and we were just a couple of miles from where the team stayed on the public beach. There is a nice lagoon behind the house where we saw herons, fish, a 6+ foot gator and turtles. All in all, we would recommend this property to anyone looking for a little extra room while enjoying one of the East coast’s best beaches and/or little league ballparks. Job well done.
