Welcome to Hideaway on the Bay — a cozy beach cottage in the heart of Kye Bay, just 20 seconds from the sand. Whether you’re traveling with kids, dogs, or just a good book, this warm and pet-friendly home offers the perfect mix of character and comfort.



Inside, you’ll find two bedrooms plus a double pull-out sofa, a renovated bathroom with a skylight above the shower, and an updated kitchen with a central island and new appliances. The enclosed front porch is a favorite feature, ideal for morning coffee or quiet evenings.



We’ve stocked the home with books, board games, and beach toys for younger guests. There’s also a high chair and pack-and-play for families with little ones. For dogs, we provide a bed, bowl, and waste bags — and the fenced backyard backs onto trees for added privacy.



Additional amenities include a propane BBQ, electric fireplace, and fast Wi-Fi. You’re walking distance to a beachfront playground and just a short beach stroll to Air Force Beach. This home is filled with wonderful for features that will charm you like the bespoke mosaic in the bathroom and the driftwood shelf in the living room. A welcoming beach house with every thing you need to enjoy your stay. Lots of towels, very comfortable beds, double oven (!), basket of toys to entertain our toddler, books and games on the shelf to wile away a rainy day. Hosts have everything set up to be easy!

Lovely spot- great location!

Location is literally steps away from one of the nicest beaches. Only short drive into town, shopping, dining, and ice cream! Great location to visit Comox or Courtney. Property was exactly as listed, with many comforts provided (beach towels, toys, fans, fully stocked kitchen). Just note, location is not walkable to any amenities, so a vehicle is a must.

This is a nice little cottage across the street from the beach. There is not really much of an ocean view except on the porch, but you can easily access the beach. The house has the basic amenities, and the fenced back yard is nice.You are a bit out of the main town, in a small neighborhood. This is directly behind the airport, so you do hear planes, but it wasn’t very frequent.

We loved our time at Kye Beach, this cottage was exactly what we needed to have a great family time.
