Welcome to Hideaway on the Bay - This charming home naturally turns your vacation into a relaxing retreat. Nestled in famous Kye Bay, this 2 bedroom home is across the street from one of the nicest beaches in the area. A 30 second walk on the beach takes you to a great playground for kids of all ages. Dog friendly with a provided bed and bowls.
After a long day in the water, or just a stroll on the beach, share some stories with friends in your private backyard while you cook a great meal on the propane BBQ. Mornings are the perfect time to make a cup of coffee and curl up with a good book on the enclosed front patio.
At night, or on a cool day, cozy up with your favourite streaming service on the smart TV and let the electric fireplace keep you snug. There is also a small library as well as board games for all ages. Wifi and a dedicated work space ensure you can stay connected if needed during your stay.
Enjoy a relaxing bath in the recently renovated bathroom while enjoying the large skylight.
A few things to note about the home
- This home is not beach front. We are across the street from the beach. There is an easy access path to the beach.
- The master bedroom has a king bed, the spare room as a bunk (twin/full) and there is a pullout couch with a queen mattress in the living room.
- While the kitchen has all the tools you need to make the perfect meal, please note there is no dishwasher. Plenty of soap and scrub pads are provided.
- There are no residential open fires permitted in the town of Comox
- The home is primarily heated by independent wall registers (there is no master thermostat, you control the temperature at each individual heater).
