The space
The open floor plan between the kitchen, and living room areas is perfect for keeping your family and friends together under one roof. Amenities include a wood burning fireplace, Keurig, 3 smart TVs, board games and outdoor dining table on the front porch/deck. Upstairs you will find the loft room space with a full size futon (couch goes out into a full size bed) and separate bedroom with queen size bed. There is a small desk and chair in the loft for a perfect work-from-home alternative.
Guest access
Guest will have access to the whole cabin with the exception of the loft closet upstairs and the outside shed which are to remained locked at all times. Max of 4 people occupancy. 2 car parking spaces on concrete slab in the driveway. No street parking; vehicles interfering with snow removal operations in the street are subject to significant fines, and may be towed and impounded by the city. All fines, towing, and impoundment charges are the guest/vehicle owner's responsibility. There is no provided snow removal service. There is a shovel onsite. Guests are responsible for their own snow removal during cabin stay and no credits will be issued due to inconvenience or issues. Snow is a desired mountain seasonal climate occurrence during the winter months.
Other things to note
Please note we do not have air conditioning - you won't find AC in typical mountain cabins and it's rarely hot enough. Please turn the thermostat to 55 degrees when leaving the cabin.

**Parking**
Please plan accordingly, two cars are permitted to be parked in the driveway on the concrete slabs; there is no street parking or additional parking nearby.

**Security System**
The Cabin is equipped with Blink cameras on the exterior. This provides a safe environment for our guests, ensures that 4 person occupancy and no pet policies are maintained. Any unapproved pets or guest will result in immediate cancellation and your payment will be forfeited.

**WINTER TRAVEL**
Please be aware that during winter months, chains and 4x4 requirements are often in effect in order to enter Big Bear Valley. It is California state law that tire chains must be carried in all vehicles between November and April. All guests booking a stay in the winter should anticipate the possibility of tire chains being necessary to travel to Big Bear and should planning accordingly. This requirement is enforced by city officials and law enforcement. Partial refund is considered if all 3 roads to Big Bear are CLOSED. Weather conditions can change rapidly in the mountains.

Snow Removal
Snow plows are dispatched only after 4-6 inches of accumulation has occurred and removal is based on city and snow removal company’s schedules and routes. The cabin is supplied with at least one shovel to allow access to the property. City plows may inadvertently leave a berm or small snow bank across the driveway which may impede access to the house until removed by the tenant. Issues or delays may arise if snow fall occurs close to your arrival or check-in, so please watch the weather to be prepared. Guests are responsible for time and cost of snow removal during cabin stay and no credits will be issued due to inconvenience or issues. Snow is a desired mountain seasonal climate occurrence during the winter months.

Please note that while the cabin has a wood burning fireplace, firewood is not provided.
