Nestled against the backdrop of Florida's nature coast, the Island Place is a romantic getaway showcasing the natural beauty and serenity of a secluded tropical isle. Our beautiful condos are located in Cedar Key directly on the Gulf of Mexico amid a true nature preserve, swaying palms and warm Gulf breezes. Renew the spirit and stir the soul in a paradise of tropical splendor. Walk out your unit and you will find a pool located directly on the Gulf! Grills are park style and at end of complex. Bring utensils, charcoal, grill brush and lighter fluid.

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a fun and exciting vacation destination, we will fill and exceed your expectations for comfort and location.

The complex is designed to lend itself to the historical flavor of Cedar Key. We are next to the city marina, and just a few steps away from fine restaurants, shopping and grocery store.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no boat parking available onsite. There is public boat parking available one block east or two blocks to the north across from the market.

PLEASE NOTE: Our Pool is closed for chemical treatment on Monday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

First Visit to Cedar Key

We were very excited to experience Cedar Key and your lovely location right on the water did not disappoint. Everything was beautiul and well equipped. Unfortunately we had to cut our visit short due to a family death. The property manager was so gracious in our need to depart very quickly. We hope to visit again.

Wife’s Birthday Getaway

We stayed three nights for a long weekend to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Rented a golf cart to cruise the island, rented some kayaks and paddled across the bay to the island beach. Fished with Chad O’Steen on Friday and caught a bunch of redfish. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay in Cedar Key

The Island Place is a great location and Cedar Key is lovely… Old Florida at its best!! Our unit was beautifully decorated and especially comfortable for a smaller space. Sitting on the furnished porch and enjoying the views was really memorable.
