About this property

Two bedroom beachfront condo at Sapphire Beach!

Our unit is fully furnished and comfortably sleeps 4 guests in two fully furnished bedrooms. Amenities include two full bathrooms, a full-sized kitchen, a large living area, two balconies with waterfront views. Modern conveniences of a townhome such as air conditioning, cable TV and ceiling fans are also available. Housekeeping services with fresh towels and linens are provided during your stay (every 5 days) and beach towels are provided for daily use and exchanged as often as needed.

The property has a multi-level freshwater pool that overlooks the Caribbean Sea beach. Check out: http://www.sapphirebeach-resort.com/. The live web camera reflects exactly the view from our condo!

The condominium is steps away from a wonderful sparkling beach stretching a half mile long. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy whether your preference is relaxing in the sun, riding the waves, snorkeling, paddling, sitting under an umbrella or building a sand castle.

Care to try your hand at water sports? Deep sea diving, jet skiing, snorkeling and water excursions are available through vendors at our marina. Our condo is within 5 minutes to Red Hook, an intimate commercial strip packed with food market, novelty stores, clothing shops, bars and restaurants. Passenger and vehicle ferry service to St. John and the British Virgin Islands is also available from Red Hook.

As a two bedroom (only very few exist on Sapphire Beach), that is in immaculate condition, we are the best deal at the waterfront of Sapphire Beach!

Great view!!
Beautiful unit that accomodated all our family needs. The view was spectacular. Had everything we needed and loved the location. I missed description that the washer and dryer were not included which was my mistake. I saw it in the bathroom pictures and booked with that in mind but that was my oversite. Would love to be able to use those being there for a week. I would definitely stay here again!!

The condos are right on the beach. You can walk in the water and snorkel. The pool, bar, and 3 food choices are extremely close. Everyone is very friendly. Definitely will go back!

Stayed in this condo 7/3-7/9 with my husband, sister and brother-in-law. The location was awesome - just a short walk to the beach, the beach bar, the pool and the Sapphire Beach Marina where we rented jet skis one day and a dinghy on the other. Taxi's were always available. This condo was on the 3rd floor so there are stairs to climb but that wasn't too bad. Beach towel service is provided and also chairs are available on the beach. The condo was clean and had the basics in the kitchen. Host responded quickly when I had a small concern. We hope to stay there again in the future!

Nice place, great location
This place was great for us to spend a short week exploring Saint Thomas. Convenient location near Red Hook and the ferry. The beach was very nice especially since they cleaned up the seaweed every morning. Nice amenities in the complex (pool, bar, multiple restaurants, breakfast/coffee shop). We enjoyed our stay. Just minor issue getting our checkin info late just before 4pm when we were supposed to be able to get in at 3pm.

the condo was he perfect size for 4 of us (clean and comfortable), steps away from a beautiful beach where you can snorkel with turtles and spotted eagle rays or just soak up the sun, the sapphire beach bar has delicious fish tacos, sudis was a gem w/in walking distance (amazing food and atmosphere), red hook/car ferry was a 5 min drive....best girls trip ever!

Beware!!! Strict cancellation policy.
My grandmother died, and my family wanted to have her celebration of life during Christmas break. I let the owners know and asked to cancel 8 MONTHS in advance. They wouldn’t. We had no hot water in the kitchen our entire stay and watered down dish soap, so washing dishes meant I had to boil water every day during my vacation. We let the owners know, and they would not let my husband, a contractor, turn the water heater up because it was under warranty. They never offered to fix it. Very inconvenience! The resort was average and the unit is dated. I do have very high standards, but in my opinion it was subpar. They also let a contractor into the unit without letting us know. We came back one day, shocked to find somebody on the patio unbeknownst to us. I checked every other listing in Sapphire Bay and all of them have a refundable deposit except this one. Be aware (as I wasn’t) and shame on the owners for not refunding us b/c of a death in our family!!! Karma.

Excellent Condo
This was my fourth stay on the island and this was the best condo that I have rented. Everything worked well and I really enjoyed the little added touches like games, book and beach/snorkeling equipment. I'm hoping to stay here next year during fall break as well. Thanks for the great experience.

This was truly an amazing rental property! It is very clean and the location is absolutely beautiful. The beach at sapphire is amazing we loved snorkeling and swimming. The owners are just as amazing and very easy to work with. Would do it again in a minute!!!!

Property was beautiful. The snorkeling was great and right outside of our room. Everything was very clean upon arrival. Room was everything I expected. There is a fun Tiki Bar and a few restaurants right down from the room. I had a amazing stay.

Breathtaking upper and lower balcony views
This property is as shown in photos and the views of the beachfront and ocean and plentiful outdoor seating do outweigh the fact that the interior is outdated. It is 5 minutes from Red Hook and the ferry to St. John and the breakfast/store serves great coffees and breakfast sandwiches to order. There are plentiful beach chairs available for guests and the bar on site is fun but FYI it closes at 8. Definitely book dinner at the on site Sea Salt rooftop restaurant for additional stunning views as you dine. The pool area needs updating, and that bar area is closed and in need of repair, although the main bar off the beach is large with friendly staff and lively music. There is a limited menu at the bar restaurant but go for the chicken sandwich or grilled cheese, skip the pizza. Bring extra towels to shower as this unit does not offer it’s washer or dryer, and after a few days one towel per person isn’t enough, unless you want to do a coin machine. The towel service for beach towels is great but FYI they don’t open until 10 am. Overall it’s a fair value for the size and location and available amenities. Plus the place has security and we felt very safe and welcome.

The view is amazing. The resort was clean and everyone was super friendly. We did not rent a car but we will next time. Taxi fares are pretty expensive. The condo was clean, larger than I thought it would be. Plenty of room for two adults and two teenage girls. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time! The view of the beach and water from our balcony was breathtaking. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony every morning. The host was very responsive and did help accommodate our stay. One thing to note, the listing shows photos of washer/dryer, however, they are not available for guests to use. I would suggest removing the photos and providing guests info on where to do laundry. (Trailer by marina has laundromat for $8 per load). Another suggestion is to provide a rolling cooler/ice chest, or a wagon to transport cooler to and from beach. Wagon can also be used when getting groceries. Also - provide info on bath towels. Family of 4 went through bath towels in 2 days. We had a 5 day stay. We asked for clean towels and host was able to get fresh set within 24 hours. Not sure if listing provides info for taxis, bringing plenty of cash for taxis, laundry, groceries (getting a taxi vs ordering online). This is probably more for travel tips. Maybe include a travel tips section. Our family is used to all inclusive resorts so this experience was a bit unfamiliar, but we figured it out and thankfully we had a longer stay to explore and make our stay comfortable.

The condo was perfect for our family vacation. It was clean, well stocked with everything a vacationer may need, and was in a prime location. Hosts responded quickly to questions and we felt very safe staying in this home.

We love the Virgin Islands and the location of our condo in St. Thomas. It is so relaxing! We enjoy going to the beach all day and doing very little, mostly reading and swimming. At night time we often go to a restaurant, the dining choices are incredible (our favorites are Sea Salt right on property, Island Time Pub, XO and The Easterly in Red Hook or a night out in St. John). Our daughters are big fans of the area and enjoy spending the time with us, Duffy's Love shack is their favorite hang out at night!

We have enjoyed updating our condo over the last few years, everything is kept up and we especially love the fact that we have two bedrooms for our guests and family. Enjoy! Linda & Peter
