Charming stay in a fantastic location! This 1925 Spanish-style home sits on a quiet cul-de-sac, east of Olive in the Central Park Historic District. The house evokes the relaxed elegance of West Palm Beach's early days with arched doorways, cypress ceilings, tile and hardwood floors, and the original decorative stone fireplace.
Nowadays, it's a cozy two level vacation home filled with colorful decor and thoughtful details for extended stays, like a well-provisioned kitchen and two dedicated workspaces with monitors and a printer.
Shaded by palms and frangipani trees, the resort-style outdoor entertainment area offers dining and lounge seating, BBQ, and a relaxing hammock. The location is within walking distance to the Intracoastal Waterway, the shops on Antiques Row, and the bars and restaurants on Dixie Highway. It is less than a 10-minute drive to the fabulous shops and beaches of Palm Beach Island.
The space
At your first step into the home, the spacious red-tiled Entryway exudes old-world charm with its cypress ceilings and traditional red tile floor.
Living Room
The Living Room combines the original fireplace (non-working) and hardwood floors with comfy seating and a 50" Smart TV. A sliding door opens to the outdoor oasis.
Dining Room
The Dining Room is a funky space with bright orange chairs, low-hanging industrial-style lights, and colorful artwork. The room is conveniently situated next to the Kitchen for easy access.
Kitchen
The Kitchen is brightly painted and a pleasure to cook in. It has everything you need to create a fabulous home-cooked meal for family or friends. There is a gas range, stainless steel stove and oven, Keurig, kettle, and blender.
Bedrooms
The Primary Bedroom has a Queen bed with a Smart TV, desk, chair, and computer monitor.
The 2nd Bedroom has a Queen bed and a lovely view of palms and sky.
The 3rd Bedroom has a Trundle bed (sleeps 2), desk, chair, and computer monitor.
Bathrooms
The 1st bathroom has a combination shower and tub on the second floor.
The 2nd bathroom has a shower.
Outdoors
There is access through the living room to the back patio. There is outdoor dining and bench seating, a charcoal grill, and a large 2-person hammock. The outdoors is a lovely place to relax and unwind in a quiet, tranquil setting.
