About this property

This is an upstairs half of a duplex. In a great neighborhood. Outfitted with everything you might need. It’s not an overly big place, but it’s not small either. And seems perfect for a quick stop or an extended stay.

We are walking distance to the Taxslayer Center. Two minutes to the 74 bridge, and just a few more to anywhere else in the Quad Cities.

I’ve been running a vacation rental for almost four years now, but I’m just joining the Vrbo team. It has been really great, and I’ve been able to meet a lot of wonderful people!

Crossing the midwest

We stated at the property on a spring drive across the country. Josh made booking easy and our stay very comfortable. We’re planning to stay again on our way home.

Extremely accommodating

The father and son were both helpful… the first night the fuse blew I had my own air fryer and the microwave going at the same time didn’t know they were on the same circuit but they reset the breaker promptly. The next day it was a thunder storm and that morning I just had the air fryer going as soon as I put my breakfast in there the whole house went black I called he told me the whole block was out… one hour later power was restored overall I would stay again

Awesome place! Recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of kind touches included such as pizza, breakfast items, soap etc. The Vrbo listing had hot tub listed as amenity in error but there was a nice deep tub in bathroom. Glad to have found this place and would stay again!

Conveinent and cozy

Stayed one night was a cozy place, had everything for a basic stay, host even provided some pizzas and breakfast foods, was very simple check in. Overall I would recommend staying.

This VRBO is an inexpensive option that is clean and functional.

We stayed for 6 nights over the Christmas holidays. Our time was mainly spent visiting family. We only needed a place to clean up and sleep. This option is great if your priorities are clean, functional, and inexpensive. The manager was immediately responsible to every question, and was a genuinely nice person. Very pleased!

Nice, close to activities, well maintained. A real value for the price. Should mention somewhat difficult for challenged mobility due to climbing in and out of tub/shower. Driveway parking was nice but sometimes difficult to see oncoming traffic. We heard and met dog on occasion. Host provided nice amenities.

Good and clean

Very clean and easy to get to. Older house but well taken care of. Owner responded quickly to texts. The bed was too soft for me but overall a decent place to stay.

My name is Josh. I've been running a vacation rental for over 4 yrs now. It's been a great experience and I've met many wonderful people.
I live downstairs with my daughter, and our cat and dog. My day job is a crane operator at a local steel mill. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time on the local rivers. There are some great places here for kayaking, fishing, and sailing.
