Maui Kamaole #J-121 is a beautiful ground floor, 1 bedroom, 2 bath ocean view unit. It features a full kitchen with stainless GE Profile appliances, split-system air conditioning, washer / dryer, and complimentary wifi. The bedroom is elegantly appointed with a queen bed and a SmartTV, in case you want to catch a show as you are retiring for the night. Both a/c and a ceiling fan are available to ensure your comfort as you rest. The bedroom has its own private lanai, perfect for relaxing and reading a good book. Maui Kamaole #J-121 conveniently provides two nicely updated bathrooms; both showers include rain and handheld Kohler faucets. The living room is spacious and attractive with gorgeous large-tile floors, original art from local artists, and Tommy Bahama furniture - ideal for when you are spending an evening in the unit. A new (2023) sofa bed is in the living room. A SmartTV is also provided in the living room, but with views this great, who needs a TV! The main lanai provides a dining set so you can dine outdoors. Beach chairs, beach towels, and a couple coolers are provided for your enjoyment and convenience. Sleeps 4.

Kamaole Beach #3 is just across from the upscale Maui Kamaole. This property features lush tropical landscaping and beautiful ocean views, two gorgeous pool areas with hot tubs and water features. There are gas grills peppered throughout the property and tennis courts available for your use. The Kamaole beaches are world famous for their long sandy shoreline. The water is crystal clear which makes for great snorkeling. In addition during the winter, the humpback whales are just off shore and put on a great show. You will enjoy the most magnificent sunsets imaginable. You also are within walking distance to activities, shops and restaurants and a short drive to the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Almost Paradise

Reviewer Comments: Condo was well equipped and clean. One problem was the location, right next to the road to the parking lot ,which had a speed bump right next to our lanai, you can imagine the noise. Second issue was the tenants above us. People were constantly running up and down the stairs and dragging the furniture across the floor, suggest having owners put felt pads on the chairs to eliminate a very annoying noise.

A very good base to explore Maui

Parking right in front of the unit, a big plus. The unit itself is showing its age somewhat but had all the amenities that you would want for a nice day on the island. Nearest supermarket we found was a safeway about 10 minutes drive away.

Great place in South Kihei

We had a fantastic stay here and felt it was nicer than the photos made it appear. The unit was a great location within the complex near the upper pool which was better for kids and had a nice view out to the water while being far enough from the main road road to stay quiet. Our only minor suggestion was that it would have helped to have a clear list of what is in the unit in the description (e.g 3 adult beach chairs, 1 child beach chair, beach sand toys, 1 small cooler, etc.) and having a few more things for kids like a pack n’ play, high chair/booster, boogie board, would have been nice but these things are super easy to rent through the services in Maui.

All the Comforts of Home

This property was well-stocked (lacked for nothing), clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, spacious, close to the pool and grilling. There is an ocean view because you are on a hill. The lanai was large and well appointed. Nothing at all to complain about. Enjoyed the varied birds that are there with all of their different calls. Close to restaurants and beaches. Would definitely stay there again.

Very good rental with great views and a nice location

We loved this Maui VRBO! The view was very nice, location was solid, and the place had top-notch furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen. Highly recommended for a fantastic Hawaiian getaway. The addition of a murphy bed would make this the ideal family condo.

December 2023 Stay

Double bed was not adequate for two sleepers. Two twin beds are larger than a double. I expected a queen at the very least. We are not heavy people but to sleep comfortably one of us slept on the couch.

Nice Property - But Rent an Upper Level due to noise

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property overall was lovely and was well equipped with everything a person would need. The view and grounds are absolutely beautiful! A big negative that would keep me from a future rental of this particular unit was the noice from the upper unit. You could hear every footstep, cabinet door closing, chairs being pulled out and pushed in etc, etc. The noise started from early morning until late into the evening. It also was disturbingly gross to change the bedding and see a HUGE urine spot on the mattress cover. Not sure how this was over looked??

January 2023 Stay

Unit is well stocked/furnished to make stay so enjoyable! While changing the bedding there a a HUGE urine spot on the mattress cover. Appears to not have been laundered. Yuck! Only reason I would not return to J121 is the excessive noise from the unit above. You can hear every step, cabinet closing, chair being pulled out across floor etc, etc. The noise begins in the early hours and continues until late evening. Because of this it is the first time leaving Maui I’m anxious to go.

Great Condo

Great condo, great location, fully equipped, very clean, grounds perfect, pools, bbq area, parking all very close. Couldn’t have been much better. The view although a little distant from the ocean was still great, could see whales from the lanai. Afternoon Sun off the lanai, very close to restaurants, grocery, beaches. Great for morning walks into Wailea. Have vacation in Maui 7 times in the last 10 years and this was the best all around condo yet and pricing was reasonable.

Wow - the sunset views!

I spent a week at this condo and it was wonderful! The condo is very well decorated with high quality & modern furnishings. The kitchen is well stocked with all you could possibly need & has top notch pots & pans, plates, knives & silverware. This is something that I value & appreciate so much. I have stayed in many condos before & I can’t tell you the poor quality that I have come across. It is definitely not the case in this condo. The best part of all are the views. The sunset views from the back lanai is spectacular! My only side note would be that the bathroom towels could use a refresher. They have been well used over the years & could be replaced. I would absolutely stay here again! It’s a great condo!

Better than advertised!

I arrived at the condo and the online check-in was very easy with code for the door. The unit was everything the pictures showed and more. Everything was labeled and explained well. Very clean and well decorated. Central location made going anywhere easy. Would absolutely recommend!
